SFC Donnelson served
as Convoy Commander, conducting over 80 Combat Logistic Patrols and driving
over 5,000 miles accident free. His expertise and willingness to execute
combat logistic patrols throughout Northern Iraq along MSRs and ASRs
contributed to the team's overall success, and ensured all supplies,
equipment, and personnel returned from every mission.

SFC Donnelson was directly
responsible for the Iraqis' sustainment and initial fielding of over $3
million of equipment. Through his dedication and persistence he guaranteed
the team's overall success as a Border Transition Team at one of Iraq's most
important Ports of Entry. His leadership and expertise improved the logistics
capabilities of senior Iraqi Commanders.

SFC Donnelson served
as Logistics NCO for POETT 4227. He assumed responsibility for team's
Property Book containing over $3 million worth of equipment. He supervised five
NCOs and focused special emphasis on accountability and maintenance of team
equipment. Close interaction with team members ensured team equipment was
continually at 100% readiness.

He mentored other
NCOs, trained Gun Truck Commanders, ensured all team members were cross-trained
and capable of all tasks within their crew vehicle. His dedication to mission
safety and his soldiers’ safety earned an unwavering trust and loyalty from
his subordinates and other Non Commissioned Officers.

PROPOSED CITATION
For
exceptionally meritorious service as Detachment Logistics NCO and Convoy
Commander for POETT 4227 from 22 January 2007 to 30 December 2007. SFC Donnelson's
actions and example were directly responsible for the sustainment of his unit
and his Iraqi support. His continuous determination toward self-sufficiency
ensured not only mission-readiness but the survival of his unit and his
Soldiers. SFC Donnelson's actions bring great credit upon himself, the 214th
TSG, and the United States Army
