11B3O / Squad Leader / Training NCO (AGR)
As Squad Leader, serves as a leader of a rifle squad in an infantry company; responsible for the welfare, fitness, morale and discipline of nine Soldiers; responsible for the individual training and maintenance of their equipment; directs his Squad's tactical employment during offensive and defensive operations. As Training NCO, develops and administers a unit program to enhance training and improve the mobilization readiness status of the unit; drafts training schedules for approval which comply with command guidance and directives; maintains the unit mobilization plan; maintains the unit MOS qualification training program; maintains records for programs, monitors the progress of enlisted personnel and provides qualification information to the personnel section for updating.


11B Squad Leader
Rifle Squad Leader in a Light Infantry Company; responsible for the welfare, fitness, morale and discipline of nine Soldiers; responsible for the individual training and maintenance of their equipment; primary instructor and advisor in the matters of tactics, personnel management and junior leader development; directs his Squad's tactical employment during offensive and defensive operations; responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all assigned MTO&E equipment worth in excess of 750,000 dollars.


MOS INFANTRY 11B/Squad Leader
Assigned as a Squad Leader, responsible for the health, welfare, morale, and combat readiness of a six man squad in a Rapid Deployment Platoon of the 3rd Infantry Division; Assists platoon sergeant in developing and implementing individual training; provides technical guidance and support to subordanates in administrative matters; supervises maintenance; ensures compliance with all directed, specified, and implied tasks; responsible for the accountability of $2,000.000 in weapons, optics, and organizational equipment.


11B WSL(light)

Assists the Platoon Leader in the planning of direct fires, emplaces and directs two M240B machine gun teams. Aids the Platoon Sergeant in developing and implementing individual training, provides technical guidance and support to subordinates in administrative matters; supervises maintenance; ensures compliance with all directed, specified, and implied tasks; responsible for the accountability of over $250,000 worth of organic equipment and BII.


MOS 11B2O, Assistant Scout Squad Leader
Leads a reconnaissance team during combat operations; supervises tactical deployment of assigned element in offensive, defensive and retrograde operations; receives and issues orders; coordinates action of the element with adjacent and support elements and organic and supporting fire power; analyzes terrain; conducts tactical operation for a squad, operations of a patrol base and NBC operations; maintains operational security; prepares, operates and maintains secure communications equipment; ensures collection and proper reporting of intelligence data to unit.


Squad Leader

MOS 11B Squad Leader

11B Fighting Vehicle Infantryman Squad Leader

Ensures mission objectives are carried out and that each solider under his command understands his role in that mission and carries out his duties to the best of his ability. For example, if enemy contact is expected during the mission, the squad leader must outline each squad member's duties in fire support, under what condition regrouping is to be conducted and where the rally point for the mission is located.
