12S Topographic Surveyor
Serves as a Topographic Surveyor for the 386th Engineer Company; conducts surveys to provide data for map making, artillery, or aviation support; performs reconnaissance duties and inspects survey sites to determine conditions and special requirements; plans and organizes work activities; collects and maintains charts, maps, control lists, aerial photographs and other topographic data for a deployable database; coordinates surveying and computing activities; coordinates with UXO and HAZMAT teams and assists with marking areas.
Topographic Surveyor NCO
Serves as a Topographic Surveyor for the 818th Engineering Company; supervises field survey activities in support of task and mission requirements; plans and approves topographic surveys; plans and arranges logistical support for topographic survey activities; determines composition of and procedures for topographic survey parties; performs quality checks on survey data; maintains control of assigned equipment; responsible for the health, welfare, and professional development of six Soldiers.
