Aircraft Structual Repairer
Supervises the Repairs and reinstallation of aircraft structural components to include stringers,longerons, bulkheads, beams and aircraft skin according to drawings, blueprints, directives, tecnical manuals, and safty procedures. Supervises the fabrication of structural parts ,forming blocks and shaping metal using strecthing, shrinking, and other metal forming techniques. Supervises the Mixer and application of fiberglass materials. Supervises the emergency and permanent repairs of transparent plastic windows and enclosures.


Aircraft Structual Repairer 15G 20/30
Served as a Aircraft Structural Repairer; provides technical guidance to four Soldiers performing aircraft structural system maintenance for an Aviation Unit maintenance (AVUM) company in support of the XXX Brigade; supervised and managed unit level maintenance of 30 UH-60L and two UH-60A Blackhawk helicopters supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom xx; responsible for the health, morale , welfare, and training of four Soldiers; maintains and manages a hand receipt of special tools and equipment valued at over $100,000


15G Aircraft Structural Repairer
Serves in a Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) Troop that provides service and support to 30 OH-58D and ten UH60L aircraft; supervises the repair and replacement of all aircraft Airframe components; evaluates maintenance facilities and operations with directives, technical manuals, work standards, and safety practices; responsible for the counseling, training, discipline, professional development, health, and welfare of two Soldiers; responsible for maintaining and accounting for tools, equipment, and vehicles in excess of $600,000.

Fabricates structural parts, forming blocks and shapes metal using strecthing, shrinking, and other metal forming techniques. Mixes and applies fiberglass materials. Makes emergency and permanent repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures. Uses gauges and alignment fixtures to complete repairs. This includes precision measuring equipment. Mixes and applies primers and paints to aircraft surfaces. Applies corrosion control treatment to aircraft metals.


15G Aircraft Structural Repairer
Repairs and replaces aircraft structural components to include stingers, longerons, bulkheads, beams and aircraft skin according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. Fabricate structural parts, forming blocks and shapes metal using stretching, shrinking, and other metal forming techniques. Mixes and applies fiberglass materials. Make emergency and permanent repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures. Use common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures to perform structural repairs. Balances fixed-wing aircraft controls such as flags and ailerons. Mixes and applies primers and paints to aircraft surfaces. Apply corrosion control treatment to aircraft metals. Requisitions and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft structures. Maintain facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials. Uses and performs operator maintenance on common and special tools. Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
