Serves as Medical Laboratory NCO and Motor Sergeant for a forward-deployed blood detachment responsible for the strategic blood supply in support of the 8th Army; capable of conducting short-notice deployments in support of full-spectrum operations and contingency missions across the Korea theater of operations; responsible for the safety, health, welfare, morale, discipline, training, and development of 11 US and Republic of Korea Soldiers; responsible for the accountability, maintenance, and combat-readiness of tactical vehicles and equipment on two installations valued in excess of $2,000,000.


68K20 Medical Laboratory Sergeant
Serves as a Medical Laboratory Sergeant and Training Room NCOIC for the 601st Area Support Medical Company (ASMC) in support of XVIII Airborne Corps, capable of conducting short-notice deployments in support of full spectrum operations and contingency missions worldwide to include Global Response Force (GRF); responsible for the safety, health, welfare, morale, discipline, and training of eight Soldiers; responsible for the accountability and maintenance of laboratory equipment valued in excess of $300,000.


Medical Lab NCO
Served as a Medical Lab NCO for an Area Support Medical Company charged with rapid deployment in support of the Global Reactionary Force mission providing role 2 Combat Health Service Support; responsible for the health, welfare and development of four junior enlisted Soldiers; has comprehensive oversight of the clinical laboratory operations and functions: microbiology, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and blood screening.


MEDICAL LABORATORY NCO 680K20
Serves as a Squad Leader and Medical Laboratory Non-Commissioned Officer in an Area Support Medical Company; aids in the establishment and tear down of a Role II Medical Facility; provides comprehensive level I and II medical capabilities in support of worldwide contingency operations; responsible for the training, safety, welfare, morale, professional development, and readiness of one NCO and four Soldiers; maintenance, and mission readiness of 2 vehicles and Medical Laboratory equipment.


68K30 SECTION CHIEF-CSH
Serves as the B. Co, 121st CSH and Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital Laboratory Section Chief; performs daily operations for Clinical Pathology; counsels and mentors 2 NCO; assists with the training; provides logistical, administrative and technical support to 15 Korean Government Service civilian employees, 5 Officers and 13 enlisted Soldiers; trains Soldiers on CSH procedures in preparation for Transition To Hostilities.


68K2O Medical Lab NCO
Serves as a Medical Lab NCO in a Brigade Support Medical Company in the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) charged with a world-wide rapid deployment mission providing Echelon I and II Combat Health Service Support; has comprehensive oversight of the daily functions and operations of the clinical laboratory to include microbiology, chemistry, hematology, urinanalysis and blood screening; responsible for the professional development and the welfare of three Soldiers; responsible for battalion security equipment in excess of $2,000,000.


Medical Laboratory Non-Commissioned Officer
Serves as a medical laboratory Non-Commissioned Officer in a clinical laboratory; responsible for the leadership, health, welfare and development of four junior enlisted Soldiers in support of 20 providers in 12 clinics with a case load of approximately 9,000 laboratory procedures per month; has comprehensive oversight of the daily functions and operations of the clinical laboratory to include microbiology, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, front desk, phlebotomy, urinanalysis and ship out sections; responsible for a supply budget in excess of $170,000.


Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge
Serves as the medical laboratory Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the clinical laboratory; responsible for the leadership, health, welfare and development of four junior enlisted Soldiers, one junior Non-Commissioned Officer. Responsible for the daily functions and operations of the clinical laboratory to include microbiology, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, front desk, phlebotomy, and urinanalysis. Perform laboratory tests IAW CAP, report and document abnormal results to the ordering provider.


68K40 Detachment NCO
Serves as Detachment NCO for 987th Blood Support Detachment in direct support of the 172nd MMB prepared to deploy ISO combat operations world wide; responsible for current day to day operations, administration, personnel accountability, safety, health, discipline, professional development, welfare and training of 19 assigned Soldiers and their families; advisor and assistant to the Detachment Commander; responsible for the maintenance and care of 44 vehicles and ancillary equipment valued at over $100,000,000.
