IN ADDITION, HIS HIGH LEVEL OF PROFICIENCY IN MAINTAINING AND OPERATING THE SINCGARS RADIO SYSTEM, RADIO ETIQUETTE, AND JCR SYSTEM WERE CRITICAL IN ENSURING THE 1/11 ACR TOC WAS CONSTANTLY ABLE TO TRANSMIT AND RECEIVE PERTINENT BATTLEFIELD DATA AND KEEP THE COMMAND TEAM UP TO DATE WITH A RAPIDLY CHANGING BATTLEFIELD CONDITIONS DURING STX AND ROTATIONAL OPERATIONS. SPC XXXXXX'S DEDICATED EFFORTS REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIM, THE 11th ARMORED CAVALRY REGIMENT AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.



FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT WHILE SERVING AS AN RTO FOR TASK FORCE SHIELD AND TEAM MOI. PRIVATE SMITH MONITORED RADIO TRAFFIC, BLUE FORCE TRACKER, AND MIRC TRANSMISSIONS FOR OVER 250 COMBAT AND LOGISTICS PATROLS. HE DISTINGUISHED HIMSELF BY ENSURING MANEUVER FORCES HAD TIMELY AND ACCURATE INFORMATION ON INSURGENT ACTIVITIES IN THE BRIGADE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY. PRIVATE SMITH'S VIGILANCE IN PROVIDING UP TO THE MINUTE INFORMATION TO WARFIGHTERS WAS INSTRUMENTAL TO THE 105TH MP COMPANY COMPLETING ITS MISSION, CONTRIBUTING TO A MORE STABLE IRAQI GOVERNMENT. HER RELENTLESS EFFORTS AND CAN DO ATTITUDE WERE KEY TO THE UNIT'S MISSION SUCCESS. STAFF SERGEANT KELLY'S DEDICATED EFFORTS REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HER, THE 53RD INFANTRY BRIGADE, THE FLORIDA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.



MERITORIOUS SERVICE AS TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER SPECIALIST FROM XXXXXXX TO XXXXXXX. PRIVATE COLETTE'S OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AND DEDICATION TO DUTY WAS A MAJOR FACTOR IN THE SUCCESS OF THE BRIGADE TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER. HE ASSISTED THE BATTLE NCO IN UPDATING THE DCO AND PROVIDING SITUATIONAL AWARENESS THAT INFORMED ALL UNITS OF CURRENT WEATHER UPDATES, LOGSTATS, PERSTAT, MEDICAL EVACUATION STATUS, AND ONGOING OPERATIONS. PRIVATE COLLETTE CONTINUOUSLY CHARTED ALL COMMANDER'S CRITICAL INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS (CCIRs) AND REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION (RFIs) FOR BOTH REAL WORLD AND EXEVAL EVENTS, GIVING THE BATTLE CAPTAIN AND BATTLE NCO A ONE SOURCE DOCUMENT CRITICAL TO MAKING INFORMED DECISIONS. IN THE ABSENCE OF ORDERS AND WITHOUT GUIDANCE, HE DEMONSTRATED INITIATIVE IN SEEKING INFORMATION OVER THE NET AND IN SOPs WHILE DISPLAYING THE HIGHEST CALIBER OF MILITARY BEARING AND PROFESSIONALISM. PRIVATE COLETTE'S DEDICATED EFFORTS REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIM, THE 53RD INFANTRY BRIGADE, THE FLORIDA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD, AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.



SERGEANT FIRST CLASS MEYERS' EXPERIENCE WITH RUNNING A FIRES CELL WAS A MAJOR FACTOR IN ESTABLISHING THE 2-34TH IBCT FIRES CELL. HE TOOK CHARGE OF THE SOLDIERS ASSIGNED TO RUN THE FIRES OPERATIONS IN THE BDE TOC, SET UP THE AFATDS, CPOF, AND EMT AND DIRECTED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MIRC COMMUNICATION WITH OTHER UNITS. HE DEVELOPED REPORTING AND TRACKING SHEETS AND TRAINED ONE SOLDIER ON THE OPERATIONS OF AFATDS. SFC MEYERS ASSUMED A VARIETY OF ROLES WITHIN THE BDE. HE WAS THE FIRE SUPPORT NCO, ASSISTED WITH ELECTRONIC WARFARE OFFICER DUTIES, AND ASSISTED THE 1-113 CAV FIRES CELL AS THE FIRE SUPPORT NCO. IN ADDITION, HE PROVIDED MENTORSHIP TO 1-113 CAV IN THE ABSENCE OF THEIR FIRE SUPPORT NCO, WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY RUNNING THE BDE FIRES CELL. HIS EFFORTS TO PROVIDE TRAINING ON REPORTING AND TRACKING REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT TROUBLESHOOTING AND GENERAL TOC KNOWLEDGE GREATLY IMPROVED THE BRIGADE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE ACCURATE AND TIMELY REPORTS TO HIGHER AND BOOSTED EFFICIENCY WITHIN 1-113 CAV FIRES CELL. SERGEANT FIRST CLASS MEYERS' STERLING CONTRIBUTIONS AND DEDICATED EFFORTS REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIM, THE 82D AIRBORNE DIVISION AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
