SPC Clouse assisted in maintaining 150 Individual Flight Record Folders for 120 rated aviators and 30 non-rated crewmembers while performing duties as Flight Operations Specialist at Fort Polk, LA. He ensured all records were in accordance with FM 3-04.300, while accurately tracking over 14,000 flight hours. SPC Clouse's attention to detail assisted his section in receiving a 99% on a DA Level Inspection.
SGT Humphrey serves as a Flight Operations Specialist in a 15-ship HH-60M Blackhawk Air Ambulance Company. Her duties include maintaining aviation operation files and records and scheduling aviation operations, as well as tracking all missions and flights for the Company. SGT Humphrey excelled in her position and was vital to Charlie Company's ability to successfully accomplish all missions.
SGT Humphrey's attention to detail and knowledge were essential during the 3-82ND Battalion Aviation Resource Management Survey (ARMS) Inspection. She identified and corrected issues in over 150 rated and non-rated crewmembers' flight records which resulted in Charlie Company exceeding standards during the inspection of Flight Operations.
Since her assignment to Charlie Company, SGT Humphrey has been a valuable asset. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to duty facilitated the successful deployment and redeployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She showed great pride and enthusiasm in every task she undertook, producing excellent results throughout her time in Charlie Company. Her knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures was a vital factor in the overall success of Charlie Company's mission.
SGT Humphrey diligently served as a Flight Operations Specialist. She processed flight plans and ensured flight regulations were followed by routinely checking for accuracy. SGT Humphrey meticulously managed flight logs related to incoming and outgoing flights. She maintained and provided critical information pertaining to a fleet of 35 aircraft, the largest within the Brigade. SGT Humphrey also served as the Battalion Schools NCOIC and was personally responsible for accurately recording and processing 117 school requests within three months.
