Motorcycle Safety Citation Examples

As the Senior Motorcycle Mentor, SSG Haines' tireless devotion to the safety and well being of all service members assigned to HHC CASCOM was unprecedented. Passionate about motorcycle safety, he educated all motorcycle riders on the dangers of operating a motorcycle and trained them in safe riding techniques. After the reinstatement of the CASCOM Motorcycle Mentorship Program, motorcycle accidents declined until they reached zero over the last 12 months. The distinctive accomplishments of SSG Haines bring great credit upon himself, HHC CASCOM and the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command.


For professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving as motorcycle safety officer on the staff of HHC CASCOM from XXXXXXX to XXXXXXX. Staff Sergeant Myers consistently performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. As motorcycle safety officer, he provided crucial support to the battalion by leading area motorcycle safety officers in the adminstration of their motorcycle safety programs. He tracked over 250 motorcyle riders to ensure Fort Lee's was up to date on all required motorcycle safety training. His efforts resulted in Fort Lee having a training compliancy rate of 97%, the highest in the Southeast. The distinctive accomplishments of Staff Sergeant Myers bring great credit upon himself, Combined Arms Support Command and the United States Army.


As the Battalion Motorcycle Safety officer, Sergeant Myers was critical to the establishment of the command's motorcycle mentorship program, providing and coordinating monthly meetings and command training events. Sergeant Myers tracked 67 active duty and reserve motorcyclists, ensured they earned and maintained all qualifications, and improved attainment from 40% to 98% in less than 3 months of assuming his duties. His diligent efforts ultimately led to the lowest accident rate in command history.

As the command motorcycle safety officer, he was the key to motorcycle safety. His leadership and management abilities were showcased during the 6 command mentorships, covering over 2,600 accident-free miles while improving morale and enhancing motorcycle safety and training.

Master Sergeant Sullivan led a robust command motorcycle safety program resulting in zero motorcycle safety related incidents during his tenure.

As the command's motorcycle safety officer, he managed the initial and updated status of all assigned motorcycle riders through training, which resulted in no motorcycle accidents during his tour.

As command Motorcycle Safety NCO, he assisted the Installation Safety Officer in the post-wide inplementation of motorcycle safety training and was responsible for all documentation requirements for all motorcycle riders.

As the assistant motorcycle safety rep, Specialist Nelson maintained meticulous records to ensure 100% tracking of all command motorcycle riders. In addition, he single-handedly established a dynamic motorcycle safety program for the Company that reduced accidents by 50%.
