During the period of XXXXXXX - XXXXXXX and including the IDT drills leading up to NTC, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Anthony Crago contributed to the effectiveness and success of 3rd Platoon, TRP E, 2/278 Armored Cavalry Regiment during NTC rotation XX-18. Sergeant Crago, although only an E-5 Sergeant, stepped up to fill the role of Squad Leader and with selfless service led the Squad. Sergeant Crago ensured the well-being of his soldiers and placed their needs and the mission first to ensure the success of his Platoon. Sergeant Crago is the epitome of the 7 Army values and represents the NCO corps with professionalism. Sergeant Crago's selfless service and dedication to duty are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the United States Army.


During the Force on Force portion of NTC rotation XX-18, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Anthony Crago contributed to the effectiveness and success of 3rd PLT TRP E 2/278 ACR. As an E5/Sergeant Team Leader, Sergeant Crago assumed the role of Squad Leader. Sergeant Crago demonstrated a rare competence in this duty and made the well-being of his Soldiers a priority and ensured mission success through his efforts. Sergeant Crago's integrity and leadership reflected favorably upon him as he led his Soldiers from the front. Sergeant Crago's service and dedication to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon him, the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the United States Army.


SSG Mixon served with distinction as an assistant Infantry Platoon Sergeant for Task Force Warrior XXXXXXXXXX through XXXXXXXXXXX in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. He supervised the efforts of 13 Noncommissioned OfficerS and 26 junior Soldiers in constant motion across a battle space containing over 50,000 civilians and spanning 4 operating sites. His precise judgment and technical skill resulted in his platoon efficiently executing 114 Port Security Missions, 33 Riverine Security Missions, and 21 Fuel Port Missions directly supporting multiple USAFRICOM entities. Sergeant Mixon's diligent efforts and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon him, Delta company, 1st Battalion, 153d Infantry Regiment (First Arkansas) and the United States Army.
