12D20 Diver
Performs underwater work including salvage operations, inspection and maintenance of propellers and hulls, and construction of piers and harbor facilities; reports and records diving hazards; maintains diving life support equipment; prepares equipment for diving operations; inspects and clears underwater obstacles; maintains accurate and complete diving logs.
12D30 Diver
Supervises diving operations; prepares and operates diving equipment and watercraft support platforms; supervises demolition and the calculation and use of explosives; supervises the use of underwater hydraulic and powered equipment and other special underwater tools; ensures availability of recompression chamber and life support equipment during diving and emergency operations.
