SPC McGlown's initiative and eagerness to succeed in her missions fostered a truly remarkable working environment. Working through the inclement weather of Grafenwoehr, Germany, she displayed an unmatched commitment to the unit's readiness for the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade's SARC inspection. Although the work was tough and the missions long, she dedicated herself to the inventory of the 3-159th ARB's Parts Received Not Installed List. She inventoried over one hundred lines throughout the six companies that make up the 3-159th ARB. She also prepared the turn-in paper work for all the excess parts that were not accounted for by the Parts Received Not Installed List.
SPC Key demonstrated a pattern of outstanding performance during the 3-159th ARB Aerial Gunnery. His hard work and dedication led to the accomplishment of the 3-159th ARB's ground mission by walking through $29,300.00 of class IX parts for NMC vehicles, and working with Maintenance Activity Vilseck to keep the Battalion's FMC percentage above 97%.
As PLL NCOIC, SPC Aumack's dedication to duty lead to three CIP inspections with a passing rate of 98% or better. In addition, he turned in four million dollars in excess Class 9 parts and worked to organize all PLL to make it more efficient to maintain. Further, he helped to turn in the motor pool Ali Asad to the Base Command Group. Finally, while assigned as the environmental, hazmat, and safety officer for 3/156 maintenance, there were no violations or accidents.
SPC Akbary served as an Automated Logistic Specialist for 2D Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. SPC Akbary tracked 2-14 Calvary Battalion periodic uploads and downloads of maintenance and supply transactions of class I, II, III, IV, VIII, and IX. He generated equipment readiness reports, work orders, and maintenance records for 36 Strykers and 128 pieces of rolling stock. His attention to detail also led to the completion of man hour reports for 39 Soldiers. While assigned to different Combat Readiness Teams throughout the Brigade Support Battalion, he demonstrated his excellent work ethic, knowledge, and dedication to the mission, making a positive impact on the success of numerous rotations to Pohakuloa Training Area and one rotation to Yakima Training Area.
