Brigade Assistance Team (BAT)
Staff Sergeant McCoy was assigned as the Brigade Assistance Team (BAT) for 1-1 ABCT. He coordinated daily with the external enterprise, Installation Maintenance Division (IMD), and contractors to expedite the long lead parts for the units, thus increasing the unit's overall combat readiness by forty percent. In addition, Staff Sergeant McCoy managed and validated the Non-Mission Capable Maintenance report daily to the III Corps with accurate reporting. Moreover, he supervised and trained two Soldiers on the Division Materiel Readiness Center (DMRC) concept to achieve the intent of the Brigade Commander.
Security Force Assistance Team
For exceptionally meritorious achievement while serving as the S-4 Noncommissioned Officer for the 184th Security Force Assistance Team. Sergeant Laurin's exemplary handling of logistic matters attests to his professional knowledge, willingness to accept responsibility, attention to detail and the ability to adapt himself to any assignment or situation. Sergeant Laurin's resourcefulness, devotion to duty, and outstanding ability reflects great credit upon himself, the Army National Guard and the United States Army.
