13M Interim Armorer

SGT XXX was integral to the successful completion of over 140 summer armament services for Assassin Battery to include 75 M4A1 quarterly services and 58 PVS14 semi-annual services. SGT XXX adhered to all arms room duty requirements and upheld all physical security regulations from July to August 2021. SGT XXX also supervised the armament inspections of over 350 pieces of equipment worth over $500,000 during Assassin Battery's Maintenance Rodeo. He is an asset to the Battery and the Battalion.




13M RTO

PFC Yates' performance as Battery Operations Center Radio Telephone Operator (BOC RTO) during OPERATION XXXX exceeded all expectations and directly contributed to the successful fire of twenty-four M28A1 Reduced Range Practice Rockets (RRPRS) down range qualifying eight launcher crews and two FDC's on Artillery Table XII and Artillery Table XIV for the XXX Battalion. As RTO, he demonstrated refined radio etiquette and battle tracking abilities. He has unlimited potential as an asset to the XXX Battalion!




Assistant Section Chief

SPC Huff has performed exceptionally while assigned to the "Thunderbolt" Brigade and the 1-94th FAR. During his tenure with the "Flexible" Battalion he has successfully completed 3 separate (Himars Rapid Infiltration) missions to the Yakima Training Center. He has been integral the the brigade's success at National Training Center rotation 17-09 where he accomplished his duties as a HIMARS driver and contributed greatly to the success of the overall mission resulting in 17 M28A1 rockets being fired in support of 7th Infantry division.

SPC Huff has repeatedly and successfully certified seventeen times as a M142 (HIMARS) Launcher Driver & six times Gunner. SPC Huff played a key part in Operation 'Red Flag Alaska' where we supported Joint operations with 13B and the Air Force in a joint live fire, successfully firing 8 M28A1 Rockets. During the noise test, SPC Huff displayed masterful knowledge at his MOS when Bravo Battery fired the first M28A1 rockets ever on JBLM making history for 17th Field Artillery Brigade and Joint Base Lewis McChord history.

SPC Huff's has displayed a wide masterful knowledge of his 13M MOS skills, has been a positive influence for his leadership, over his peers and subordinates. As a role model, SPC Huff displayed the leadership attributes that are necessary to ensure his Launcher Section, the Battalion and Brigade were successful in meeting all mission requirements. SPC Huff's "Can Do" attitude and his relentless leadership were instrumental to the brigade and was a fiery testament to his commitment to success and fostered an environment of high mission readiness.

SPC Huff's dynamic leadership style and high level of character was made apparent while executing additional responsibilities in the absence of his first line supervisor. SPC Huff astutely took charge and demonstrated great leadership that resulted in the successful accomplishments of a multitude of Platoon and Brigade missions to include North Fort entry control point operations, HIAMRS Leaders Course, hands on training, and static displays for high ranking officials from the Marine Corps, Airforce and the I Corps command team.





MLRS Crewmember

FOR SUPERIOR AND UNDAUNTING SERVICE TO THE MULTI-NATIONAL BATTLE GROUP EAST DURING THE PERIOD FROM 10 MAY 2012 TO 30 JUNE 2012. SFC MIXON'S DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT TO SUCCESS MADE HIM AN OUTSTANDING LEADER. SFC MIXON, THROUGH HIS ACTIONS, HAS GAINED THE RESPECT OF SOLDIERS AND LEADERS AT ALL LEVELS. THROUGH DILIGENCE AND DETERMINATION HE ACCOMPLISHED EVERY TASK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. HIS COMMENDABLE PERFORMANCE IS IN KEEPING WITH THE FINEST TRADITIONS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECTS CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, HIS UNIT, AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.





M270A1 Driver

SPC Logan was selected as a launcher driver for first Live Fire Raid Mission in Battalion History

As a launcher driver, ensured launcher was prepped and successfully fired twenty five rockets during nine missions

As launcher driver, safely moved vehicle through two different operational areas and long distrance RAID mission despite difficult terrain and conditions

Kept three vehicles at 100% mission ready status;

Selected for advance party, ensured all unit equipment was ready for movement to the field and base camp was set up for main body arrival





M270A1 Gunner

Selected as a launcher gunner for first Live Fire Raid Mission in Battalion History; successfully processed a manual fire mission during radio silence

As a launcher gunner, ensured launcher communications with FDC, maintained full databases in three operation areas and successfully fired twenty five rockets during nine missions

Using M270A1 digital systems, maintained crew awareness of operational areas and mission positions using Grid and Polar Coordinates on the Gunner Display Unit

Assisted battery maintenance in the repair and troubleshooting of launcher vehicles outside of fire mission duties





Ammunition Sergeant

SGT Brown cross-trained as a Gunner in Launcher 42, became Gunner Display Unit proficient in record time, and successfully fired three ATACM rockets. He kept the launcher databases updated, used GPS and polar coordinates to safely guide crew through mission areas, and safely performed a full reload.

SGT Brown set up five reload points in five operational areas to supply 23 M39A1s in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining 100% security of rocket pods and reload points around the clock during five days of 24-hour field operations.

SGT Brown successfully lead a convoy during one reload mission in the middle of the night under low light/black out conditions while maintaining 100% accountability of sensitive items and equipment.

SGT Brown supervised After PCMS on all three platoon HEMTTs and HEMATs ensuring proper recovery and annotation of vehicle conditions for future use.
