Outstanding achievement in the course of his duties as Instructor from XXXXXX to XXXXXX. During this time, Staff Sergeant Randall A. Cotton demonstrated tenacity and self-motivation to initiate and supervise the replacement of the 128th Aviation Brigade's Generic Aircraft Nitrogen Generator (GANG) nitrogen bottles. His foresight, preparation and diligence ensured that six GANGs were fully mission capable after the installation of 24 bottles. His diligent efforts ensured the task was completed ahead of schedule, met stringent QA requirements, and allowed the brigade to continue with its mission of shaping student Soldiers into members of the Aviation Branch. Staff Sergeant Cotton's extraordinary efforts and accomplishments reflected credit upon himself, C Company, 1-210th Aviation Regiment, 128th Aviation Brigade and the United States Army.

Aircraft Pneudraulics Repair Specialist

o manufactured bypass lines to establish an extreme hydraulic flush of the CH-47 aircraft preventing further damage to the hydraulic system due to hydraulic pump failure--prevented over $40K in damages

o instructed maintenance personnel in the removal and flushing of the components and the rebuild of the hydraulic system components while maintaining two CH-47s--agile mission support
