While serving as the Squadron Production Control NCOIC, SFC Mullins led the squadron maintenance management team that produced an average OR of 86.8% and flew 4800 hours. He served as a forward task force Production Control NCO where he managed a 32 mixed MDS fleet that produced an average OR of 84% and flew over 2500 hours. During his tenure the average OR rate was above DA standard of 75%. He directed over 52 major scheduled maintenance events to include 3 AH-64 500 hour phases culminating over 100,000 man hours.

As the Quality Control NCOIC, SFC Mullins built a fully functional AH-64 QC section from scratch. He served as the sole technical inspector for 10 AH-64D for over 2 months. He single handedly trained and developed 18 technical inspectors. He developed the Brigade standardized technical inspector training program resulting in standardization of over 58 technical inspectors. SFC Mullins built a QC section that resulted in a perfect 100% commendable rating in the FORSCOM Aviation Resource Management Survey inspection.

While assigned as a flight company Platoon Sergeant, SFC Mullins was responsible for the management of eight AH-64 aircraft. He maintained an above DA Standard OR rate and had an average of most flight hours out of all three troops in the Squadron. His management allowed aircraft to fly over 1300 hours, 4500 maintenance man hours, and over 200 technical inspection hours. With the high availability of aircraft, he was able to directly affect the ability to qualify 90% of the Squadrons aviators during aerial gunnery and 46 pilots during AQC.

SFC Mullins directly contributed to the successful completion of over 8 aerial gunneries, 2 CTC rotations, and a hurricane evacuation of 18 AH-64D during movement to and from Atlanta, Georgia. He also assisted in the development and execution of the Squadron's first Crew Chief Training Program, which progressed all 16 crew chiefs from RL3 to RL1 setting the standard for the Squadron. The Squadron CSM used SFC Mullins' progressions techniques as a template for the remaining Troops to progress their Soldiers.

FOR EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS THE 1-17 CAV REGT PRODUCTION CONTROL NCOIC, B TRP PLATOON SERGEANT, AND QUALITY CONTROL NCOIC FROM 22 FEB 17 TO 10 FEB 21. SFC MULLINS HAS DISTINGUISHED HERSELF BY DEMONSTRATING CLEARLY THAT HE IS A PROFESSIONAL SOLDIER, DEDICATED TO EXCELLENCE IN HIS FIELD OF EXPERTISE. HIS UNTIRING EFFORTS, LEADERSHIP ABILITY, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL SINGLE HIM OUT AS AN OUTSTANDING MEMBER OF THE 1-17TH CAV REGT. HIS OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE OF DUTY IS IN KEEPING WITH THE FINEST TRADITIONS OF THE NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER CORPS AND REFLECTS GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE 1-17TH CAV REGT, THE 82ND CAB, AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




SPC Doyle's character and pattern of outstanding performance during his time in 1-17 HARS is the embodiment of the 82nd Standard. SPC Doyle took part in ten aerial gunneries as well as two field exorcises. In this time SPC Doyle proved he was able to complete five 125 Hour maintenance procedures with little to no supervision. SPC Doyle took initiative to start and lead each 125 in the absence of NCO's. His knowledge of the AH-64D/E combined with his leadership qualities strengthened Delta Troop to remain flexible and efficient.

SPC Doyle has demonstrated unparalleled excellence while serving the last three years in 1-17 Heavy Attack Reconnaissance Squadron (HARS), 82nd Airborne Division. During Aerial Qualification course (AQC). SPC Doyle played a huge role in the launching and recovering of over 100 AH-64D/E Apaches. SPC Doyle conducted over 300 maintenance hours during each of the ten AQC's. SPC Doyle's efforts assisted in 1-17 standing up as an Apache Squadron. He set the standard for all other Soldiers to emulate within the Squadron.

SPC Doyle served as a Crew chief in Bravo Troop and a maintainer in Delta Troop. SPC Doyle care for Soldiers and work ethic are comparable to seasoned leaders at least one rank above his and more than double the time in service. While performing the role as a junior leader, he led Soldiers in two AH-64D 500 Hour Phases, and fifteen 250 Hour Phase maintenance tasks with distinction. SPC Doyle's work ethic, personal responsibility, and dedication ensured each maintenance task was carried out ahead of schedule and performed correctly.

SPC Doyle was part of the hand select few who were chosen to deploy with the Immediate Response Force to Camp Buehring, Kuwait. SPC Doyle was responsible for the accountability, training, and work management of five Junior Enlisted Soldiers. SPC Doyle's contagious leadership ability ensured all Troopers within Delta Troop maintained themselves and their equipment to the highest standard.

SPECIALIST DOYLE'S DEDICATION TO DUTY AND SELFLESS SERVICE ARE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECT GREATLY UPON HIM, 1ST SQUADRON 17TH CAVALRY REGIMENT, 82ND COMBAT AVIATION BRIGADE, 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




SGT Greaney proved capable of managing and delegating maintenance for all armament, avionics, and electrical work orders. SGT Greaney assumed the role of System Supervisor on three occasions which is a role reserved for someone two grades above his current rank. During this time, SGT Greaney successfully supervised the completion of 30 work orders and managed the reconfiguration of the squadron's 36 OH-58D helicopters for aerial gunnery. His efforts contributed to the unit maintaining an average 90 percent OR rating.

SGT Greaney demonstrated superior physical strength and stamina maintaining the highest APFT average out of 107 Delta Troop Soldiers. SGT Greaney earned and retained the right to wear the Army physical fitness badge scoring well above 90% in each event of the Army APFT. As a team leader, SGT Greaney motivated four Troopers, working with them to pass the APFT with an average score of 240 and zero APFT failures in his squad.

SGT Greaney demonstrated that he was deserving of being trusted with a level of responsibility above that of his peers immediately upon his arrival to the armament shop. SGT Greaney spearheaded the management of the shop's tool room, charged with the responsibility of readying the shop's tool room and inventory practices for the FY 16 Aviation Resource Management Survey (ARMS) inspection. His efforts resulted in the shop performing better than any other back shop and an ARMS score of 88 percent for the shop.

SGT Greaney possesses a level of professionalism and military bearing that allowed him to excel and serve as a tremendous example to the Soldier's he led. SGT Greaney's desire to excel earned him the Iron Warrior award while attending the Warrior Leader Course (WLC). Additionally, SGT Greaney's superior professionalism and performance resulted in his selection to the Green to Gold Hip Pocket Scholarship program. SGT Greaney earned a 98% GPA while transitioning to 15E making the commandant's list.

FOR EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE ASSIGNED AS AN OH-58D KIOWA WARRIOR AVIONIC, ARMAMENT AND ELECTRICAL REPAIR TECHNICIAN. SGT GREANEY'S OUTSTANDING EFFORTS, SELFLESS SERVICE AND DEVOTION TO DUTY ENHANCED OPERATIONAL READINESS AND CONTRIBUTED TO THE OVERALL SUCCESS OF THE MISSION. HIS DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTS GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, DELTA TROOP, THE 1ST SQUADRON, 17TH CAVALRY REGIMENT, THE 82ND COMBAT AVIATION BRIGADE, THE 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION, AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




15R/AH-64D Longbow Apache Repairman
CPL Vidal showed undeniable commitment as an AH-64D Attack Helicopter Repairer, Crew Chief, and Squad Leader. He provided leadership and technical expertise that exceeded the standards and expectations set for him. CPL Vidal made himself invaluable in every operation, FTX, and aerial gunnery that Charlie Company participated in since his arrival in Germany. His hard work helped 1-3RD AB earn the LTG Ellis D. Parker Award and positively influenced everyone he worked with; a true steward of the Army profession.




SSG _________ served as an AH-64D Technical Inspector for 4-2 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion. He was assigned as the lead technical inspector for Three AH-64D 500 hour phases and mentored countless Soldiers in different MOS specialties throughout the Battalion. His teaching abilities were instrumental in the unit's successful completion of eight gunnery exercises, CALFEX and four Hellfire gunnery exercises. SSG Eliopoulos' tireless efforts were key in the battalions operational readiness rate of 85%, 10% above DA Standard.




SPC Chavez exceeded all expectations during the recent operation at HAMETS training at Fort Carson. He was the first to volunteer for any task and help out Charlie Company with any maintenance that needed to be done. SPC Chavez worked countless hours to ensure the aircraft were at 100% for the mission. The outstanding professional skill, devotion, and ceaseless efforts of SPC Chavez was integral to the success of the Delta Company 1-1 ARB maintenance that was completed during HAMETS rotation 13-04.




Meritorious service while serving as AH-64D Longbow Apache Repairman, D Company, 4th Attack Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, Camp Humphreys, Korea. Sergeant Buxton demonstrated exceptional resourcefulness and motivation, as an AH-64D Longbow Apache Repairman. He consistently displayed enthusiasm in the execution of assigned tasks and strove to attain invaluable experience on a complex airframe.

Meritorious service while serving as AH-64D/E Standardization Pilot, B Company, 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, from XXXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXX. During this period, CW3 Johnson conducted one CTC rotation to NTC to validate unit combat readiness and provided invaluable insight and tactical and technical expertise to the complex mission set. He instructed High Altitude Mountainous Environmental Training at Fort Carson Colorado for the 17 aviators in the company. In addition, he was the Attack LNO for a Division Level WFX, providing mission analysis, COA development, aviation mission planning, and implementation of Air Assets to Major General Calvert. CW3 Johnson's dedication and devotion to duty is in keeping with the finest traditions of the Army and reflects great credit upon himself, 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion and the United States Army.
