For exceptional achievement while serving as a Phase Leader for three CH-47 phase inspections. Through outstanding leadership and technical expertise, they successfully coordinated personnel and resources to complete all phases on time and in accordance with technical standards. Their efforts directly increased aircraft readiness, ensured safe operations, and significally enhanced unit mission capability.




15U Flight Engineer Instructor

For exceptional achievement during Annual Training 2025. As acting NCOIC, SGT Sawyer demonstrated superior leadership and initiative while managing the movement and accountability of unit personnel and equipment, resulting in an increased operational readiness rate. In addition, he conducted several training sessions with junior soldiers, significantly increasing their technical proficiency. SGT Sawyer's dedication to mission success and soldier development reflects great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.




CH-47F Crew Member

While serving as a CH-47F crew member attached to 2-17 Immediate Response Force (IRF), SPC Richardson was instrumental in the success of aircraft tear down and demonstrated the ready to deploy force of Bravo Company, 6-101 AVN REGT in 36 hours. While serving on IRF, SPC Richardson showed that the soldiers of Bravo Company can react at a moment's notice as a global reaction force for the 101st Airbiorne Division and the United States Army. While serving in Bravo company, SPC Richardson verified the importance of working as a team and how critical it is to the success of the mission. SPC Richardson's attention to detail while preforming pre Joint Inspection (JI) ensured that everyone's bags were ready and secured properly for a timely inspection.




Team Leader

SPC Parlanti was instrumental in leading a highly skilled team during the CH-47F tear down and build up operation as part of Operation Talisman Saber. Through his exceptional guidance, the team achieved unparalleled success by exceeding the standard for blade removal for 4 CH-47s. It took them 6 hours to remove 24 blades, when it should have taken them 9 hours and 36 minutes. His leadership not only demonstrated his technical proficiency but also inspired his fellow Soldiers to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.

ACHIEVEMENT #3
Specialist Parlanti's collaborative efforts with fellow service members resulted in the successful completion of comprehensive maintenance on six CH-47F phases. This notable achievement significantly elevated the company's mission capabilities, ensuring optimal readiness and sustaining a fleet of mission-capable aircraft. His dedication has played a pivotal role in enhancing the overall success and operational effectiveness of the unit.




Crew Chief

As a crew chief, SSG Nero directly contributed to the overall success of the brigade by flying more than 100 flight hours. SSG Nero assisted the platoon sergeant with personnel management, scheduling and coordinating maintenance for aircrafts by working with Production Control, D Company maintainers, and back shops. His efforts enabled the Flippers to support every mission and increased proficiency within the 82nd Airborne Division.

FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE AS CH-47 HELICOPTER REPAIRER IN SUPPORT OF MILITARY OPERATIONS AGAINST TERRORIST AGGRESSION IN THE REPUBLIC OF AFGHANISTAN. DURING THIS PERIOD, SERGEANT YOUNG SELFLESSLY UTILIZED HIS KNOWLEDGE OF NONDESTRUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY TO SINGLE HANDEDLY DEMAGNETIZE THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF A CH-47 CHINOOK DURING HIS OFF DUTY TIME. THROUGH DILIGENCE AND DETERMINATION, HE ACCOMPLISHED THE TASK QUICKLY AND COMPLETELY AND RETURNED A THIRTY FIVE MILLION DOLLAR ASSET BACK INTO SERVICE AND INSPIRED HIS PEERS AND SUBORDINATES TO STRIVE FOR GREATER ACHIEVEMENT. SERGEANT YOUNG'S COMMENDABLE PERFORMANCE IS IN KEEPING WITH THE FINEST TRADITIONS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECTS CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE 354TH MAINTENANCE SQUADRON AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.

Pilot in Command

EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS A CH-47F PILOT-IN-COMMAND AND OPERATIONS OFFICER. MAJOR WOOKEY'S REMARKABLE PERFORMANCE AND DEVOTION TO DUTY GREATLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE UNIT'S MISSION SUCCESS. HIS ACTIONS ARE IN KEEPING WITH THE FINEST TRADITIONS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND REFLECTS GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION, THE UNITED STATES ARMY, AND THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE.




Standardization Instructor

While serving as the Standardization Instructor for B Co, 2-135th GSAB, SSG Danielson completed several assignments. He was a principle trainer and evaluator on numerous Individual, Mission, and Collective training events. His ability to train what he has learned proved invaluable in preparing Soldiers for combat in any theater of operation. SSG Danielson functioned as a Flight Engineer and Standardization Instructor where he progressed and evaluated 16 mission-trained Non-rated crewmembers and flew over 200 incident-free hours while acting as a peer mentor for a new Flight Engineer Instructor in the Flight platoon. Additionally, he developed and implemented a Door Gunnery training plan based on the unit's METL, resulting in the unit receiving a first time GO on aerial door gunnery. He is skilled in planning and coordinating required equipment and personnel to support the CH-47 aircraft flying program and is consistently sought out by peers for his invaluable experience and attention to detail.
