1LT Ryley Bendewald distinguished himself by exceptionally meritorious service while serving as the Maintenance Control Officer for 5-7 Cavalry Regiment. His initiative and technical acumen were critical in establishing accurate inventories of Class IX repair parts, enabling effective Control Exchange procedures and enhancing parts-sharing operations with sister battalions across the Brigade. His efforts significantly reduced non-mission capable time and improved logistical readiness. 1LT Ryley Bendewald further distinguished himself as the sole officer to lead the implementation of the ARMORS TIC 2.0 initiative. He successfully integrated advanced maintenance technologies including Taqtile's web-portal, HoloLens 2 augmented reality headsets, and iPad tablets, setting a new standard for virtual maintenance support across the formation.
