Religious Affairs NCO
SGT Tedrick demonstrated great initiative as the Religious Affairs NCO. She diligently prepared for her responsibilities as the 56 for the Battalion. While on mission, she utilized her experience from active duty and her education in Behavioral health to be a force multiplier within the Unit Ministry Team. She connected quickly with soldiers, fostered a space of safety, and offered compassionate listening to soldiers. In addition to the outstanding logistical support, she drove over 8,000 miles while on mission. This allowed maximum connection to soldiers and sailors entrusted to her care. She initiated the Saturday Wellness Posse and coordinated weekly hikes for our soldiers. She took an active role in PRT and assisted junior enlisted soldiers.
Chaplain Supervisor
Planned and executed the 9/11 memorial Ruck March essentially on his own. Maintained a significant presence throughout the 422nd Civil Affairs Battalion during multiple transitions. Ensured members of the 422nd CA were always met with respect and dignity. Ensured incoming and outgoing Chaplains and Chaplain Candidates were fully welcomed and appreciated. Fulfilled the duties of the UMT with limited supervision. Stepped up to provide for the 422nd CA throughout transitions and during the absence of a Chaplain Supervisor. Performed duties well above his rank/grade.
NCOIC, Command Chaplain Section
Meritorious service while serving as NCOIC, Command Chaplain Section, Military Intelligence Readiness Command (MIRC), Fort Belvoir, Virginia, from XXXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXXX. During this period, the outstanding professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant First Class Clarence H. McDonald resulted in major contributions to the effectiveness and success of the Military Intelligence Command. Sergeant McDonald facilitated and ensured the spiritual health of our MIRC community and, through recruitment and training, assisted the Command Chaplain in expanding the MIRC Command Chaplain office to a fully staffed ministry team and reduced Chaplain vacancies in the MIRC from fifty percent to five percent. Moreover, Sergeant McDonald demonstrated extraordinary dedication to the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps and the Military Intelligence Readiness Command by guiding the training and development of NCOs and Soldiers in our Command's Unit Ministry Teams. For these and other daily acts of compassion, courtesy, and living out the Army Values, Sergeant First Class McDonald has brought credit upon himself, the Military Intelligence Readiness Command and the United States Army Reserve.

For your commitment to render quality support services to the U.S. Army Garrison, Religious Support Office during a global pandemic. Your personal response in performing a myriad of strategic services to include set-up, manning individual stations, and tear down for the 2021 National Prayer Luncheon was outstanding. The personal effort you exhibited greatly contributed to a successful event at the allowed maximum capacity of 50 participants. Your "Can Do" attitude epitomized a high level of professionalism and resonates with the Army's number one priority that "People are our greatest asset". Your selfless service brings distinct credit upon yourself, the Office of the Installation Chaplain, the Installation Management Command and the United States Army.
Religious Affairs Specialist
Specialist Lake's outstanding professional skill, knowledge, and leadership aided immeasurably in developing, coordinating and executing 11 Moral Leadership training events in FY13 which collectively impacted over 1,200 Warriors assigned to 1-1 ADA. SPC Lake's resourcefullness and commitment to the 1-1 ADA team enabled leaders at all levels to benefit from high quality Moral Leadership training while maintaining curriculum, venue, food costs at less then half of the budget utilized in FY12.

Chaplain Assistant
During AT, PVT Neely's outstanding attention to detail and dedication was instrumental to the success of the Unit Ministry Team. He performed PMCS daily on UMT equipment and vehicle, identifying deficiencies and coordinating for necessary repairs. He was instrumental in the preparation and successful execution of three field Chapel services and one joint UMT Chapel Service on Main Post Chapel. PVT Neely participating in various other training events and activities contributing to the overall mission readiness of the Unit Ministry Team.

Chaplain's Assistant
Sergeant Ortiz's outstanding professional skill, knowledge, and leadership contributed immeasurably to the effectiveness and success of JRTC Sept 13. Sergent Ortiz served as NCOIC for the Chapel where he planned and coordinated meetings and services for over 900 active duty members. In the absence of the Battalion Chaplain, Sergeant Ortiz provided compassionate pastoral care and religious support. Sergeant Ortiz also provided unparalled support to the PSD teams and arranged security for the BDE Chaplain during FTX lanes.
Chaplain Assistant

SPC Romero displayed exceptional professional and dedication to her duties in coordinating daily logistical support for Ramadan for the Sayed Mosque, Bagram AF, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom 2010. Her dedication to service was instrumental to the congregation's ability to serve the Iftar meal to 75-100 people daily throughout the 29 day period of Ramadan, and to provide an Eid al-Fitr celebration for more than 300 congregants and visitors. SPC Romero's actions are a credit to herself, her unit, and the chaplain corps.
Chaplain's Assistant
Meritorious service while serving as Chaplain Assistant, 254th Medical Detachment (Combat Operational Stress Control). PFC Brinkman was key in the deployment and mobilization of the TF 62 MED Religious Support Team (RST) in an abbreviated timeframe, under stressful conditions, and in a hostile environment. He combined his CA experience with his leadership skills to assist in the development of the RST's overall mission and mission execution.
Chaplain's Assistant
Staff Sergeant Fields made a significant positive impact on TF 62 MED and the deployment to Afghanistan. He provided unparalleled knowledge and support to six subordinate Religious Support Teams spread across Afghanistan which allowed them to establish and conduct ministry operations for over one thousand patients and a countless number of service members within theater. Staff Sergeant Fields was a key player in revising and producing the Religious Support Team TASCOP and Annexes that the TF MED Religious Support Teams would use as their guide for theater operations. His assistance and exceptional foresight and preparation made it possible for the TF 62 MED to procure a relocatable building for the needs of the TF 62 MED Religious Support Team. This procurement, which would normally take three to six months, was completed in less than 30 days. His efforts allowed the Chaplain to counsel and provide ministry in a confidential setting to over five times what they were seeing previously on a weekly basis.
Chief Religious Support Team NCO
While serving as the Chief Religious Support Team NCO for 377th Theater Sustainment Command (TSC). SGM Hannah was selected to serve as the Senior Enlisted advisor and Chaplain SGM for the Multi-National Force-Iraq. The outstanding leadership SGM Hannah provided to the Joint Religious Support Operation ensured that 315 Religious Support Teams provided quality, seamless religious support to coalition forces throughtout Iraq. As the Chief Religious Support Team NCO, SGM Hannah provided direct supervision to 13 soldiers and indirect supervison to 310 Religious Support Teams. Along with this outstanding leadership, SGM Hannah successfully supervised the deployment and redeployment of the 101st and the 102nd Chaplain Detachment Teams. Additionally, SGM Hannah trained and qualified 16 soldiers from the 377th TSC subordinate units to serve as Empowerment Action NCOs (EANCO) for the AR-WFAC (Army Reserve Warrior Family Assistant Center). His training ensured that each EANCO was capable of assisting soldiers and thier families during unexpected circumstances. Finally, for a period of three years, SGM Hannah advised the 377th Commander and CSM on all Chaplain operations, quality of life, and force morale.
