PV2 Sandoval was a vital asset in the success of the 3-1 Assault Helicopter Battalion's rail operations. PV2 Sandoval aided in chaining down over 3,000 pieces of equipment and loaded over 500 rail carts. This enabled the Nightmare BN to ship off all 100% of its equipment to Europe, increasing the combat lethality of the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade in Europe.


SPC Beardsley's professional attributes were instrumental during 1-2 SBCT NTC rotation. He played a pivotal role in ensuring that 308 Strykers met the 10/20 standard before rail load operations. His hard work resulted in over 50 man-hours and the completion of more than 350 QA/QCs in under five days. SPC Beardsley's performance exemplifies dedication and excellence in maintenance operations.


SPC Pindell, during her time at Port Beaumont, Texas, distinguished herself by performing her duties in the WPS section. She has done a phenomenal job while assigned to the team, reconciling tally sheets, verifying dimensions, uploading, and exporting information to the scanners used during port, rail, and truck operations.


SSG Ates showed exceptional leadership by stepping up and successfully leading 268th 3rd PLT, consisting of 42 PAX for 15 days. SSG Ates coordinated the implementation of 2 x M113s and 11 x VisMods on a daily basis, ensuring all VICs had performed PCCs and PCIs and planning operations before every morning's SP for 15 days. When SSG Ates was the NCOIC for the vehicle wash rack, he successfully accomplished his mission by ensuring all vehicles used by the 268th MP CO were cleaned and staged for rail head transportation.


During the period of March 2014-October 2015, Sergeant Mug's professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts contributed to the effectiveness and success of numerous Unit missions to include WAREX, Mobiliztion and STAFF EX at Fort Dix. He showed great leadership in Mounted Land Navigation in a combat Garrison environment, which included trips to the golf course, post HQs, AAFES and the distiguished Fort McCoy Car wash. In addition, he played an important in role in conduting hands-on training for Rail and air operations at the Fort Dix Mobilization platform.
