A 90A Logistics Officer is a multifunctional Army officer responsible for integrating supply, transportation, and maintenance operations to ensure mission success.

Lieutenant Dan expertly planned and coordinated logistical support requirements, managing $35,000 in operational funds and $20,000 in supplies and services, which were vital to the successful completion of the POTUS Brazil Mission. Through tireless efforts, Lieutenant Dan engaged with U.S. and Partner Nation counterparts to identify and resolve logistics requirements, resulting in the successful reception and movement of supplies and equipment from multiple geographically separated airports to designated sites, with zero delays to the schedule of events.

Lieutenant Dan displayed exceptional knowledge management capabilities, developing, modifying, and tracking personnel and equipment movements, while providing timely and valuable updates to the Commander. This enabled informed decision-making and shared situational awareness across the Inter Agency, USSOUTHCOM, and USSOCOM enterprise.

Lieutenant Dan's outstanding performance was marked by his ability to enable and coordinate time-sensitive logistics support, rapidly deploying various elements, personnel, and assets, including non-standard Army equipment, without incident. His unique commitment to fostering cultural understanding and cooperation was instrumental in the mission's success.

The exceptional results of Lieutenant Dan's efforts were recognized by all supported DoD and Inter Agency organizations, which praised the utilization of highly developed and intuitive J4 logistics reporting products. Due to Lieutenant Dan's meticulous attention to detail, there were no sustainment shortages, resulting in 100% mission accomplishment of all requirements.


Lieutenant Henry O. Dan, United States Army, distinguished himself by meritorious achievement as Officer-In-Charge of Logistics Support, Special Operations Command-South, Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida, from 14 October 2025 to 15 October 2025. Lieutenant Dan excelled as a logistics leader, supporting Presidential travel in Brazil with 137 Special Operations Forces. He effectively managed $55,000 in funds and supplies, ensuring timely movement of personnel and equipment across 2,600 miles. His expertise enabled the successful reception and movement of 80,000 pounds of critical equipment, resulting in zero delays and 100% mission accomplishment. Lieutenant Dan's leadership and cross-cultural experience fostered strong relationships with Partner Nation counterparts, ultimately contributing to the historic and successful Presidential visit to the Amazon Rain forest, demonstrating the United States' commitment to regional Allies and Partners. The distinctive accomplishments of Lieutenant Dan reflect great credit upon himself, the United States Army and the Department of Defense.






Battalion S-4 Officer

For exceptionally meritorious achievements while serving as the Battalion S-4 Officer, Headquarters 69th Ordnance Battalion during the period of 4 April 1999 to 22 July 2000. During this period, Captain Korsey's outstanding initiative, leadership, and logistics abilities produced greatly improved supply, maintenance, and financial programs in the Battalion and led to a twenty percent increase in equipment serviceability rates for the Battalion. His skillful administration of supply and logistics resulted in the Battalion's successful completion of its Army Training and Evaluation Programs and two major field exercises. Captain Korsey's outstanding achievements and devotion to duty reflect favorably upon himself, the 69th Ordnance Battalion, and the 1st Armored Division.






Brigade Supply officer

Captain Weinstein distinguished himself by meritorious service as a Brigade Supply officer during this Annual Training period. Captain Weinstein's outstanding professionalism, technical expertise, and dedication to duty contributed greatly to the overall supply mission accomplishment of this highly diversified Brigade. He displayed superb managerial skill by being recognized as WINNER OF THE NATIONAL GUARD TDA MEDIUM CATEGORY COMBINED SUPPORT MAINTENANCE SHOP program. In addition, Captain Weinstein completed the Engineer Officer Advanced course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. His determination toward self development and the improvement of the organization sets the example for all commissioned officers of the Brigade. Captain Weinstein's performance brings great credit upon himself, the 30th Engineer Brigade, and the North Carolina Army National Guard.
