Example 1

During the month of August, you performed your duties and tasks exceedingly well. You demonstrated the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision. You have cooperated effectively with other members in the section, to ensure the mission continues to be met. Continue to take initiative on improving your technical proficiencies, as well as asking for clarification when needed. Remember to seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of assigned duties at all times.

Your accountability for the month of August has been consistent with the army values. Continue to adhere to the established standard during the next counseling period. Continue to report to all formations, appointments, and assigned places of duty. Make sure to keep up with your uniform, to ensure that it stays compliant.

You maintained your physical readiness by continuing to excel during physical training. You remain to be proficient in your diligence to exceeding the standard, and providing a positive example for others in the unit. Your results with the Army Fitness Test were exceeding the standard, and you have continued to score above and beyond what is expected of you. You have shown responsibility in making sure you are consistent with the new Army body composition standards.

For the month of august you have completed 32 hours of required Army correspondence courses. Continue to complete these courses, so that you will be ready to progress with other promotion point opportunities. Military education is important, and it is critical your success as a solider that you maintain constant education development.

At the end of the last counseling period. you had the goal of increasing your your weapons qualification score of 24, you completed this goal by scoring a 28. Continue to apply this work ethic in all avenues, and make sure to set new goals for the upcoming counseling period.




Example 2

Through the month of August, continue the same performance you showed during July: showing up to work on time, correcting any deficiencies, and with the same eagerness to learn to be proficient in your MOS. Things to expect this month, in addition to our normal duties, are weekly mock boards, so continue studying for that. I will look for more responsibilities within the platoon to assign to you to help get you into a leadership mindset. My expectations for you this month are to show up to work on time, in the right uniform, and with a positive attitude. Continue being an asset to the team by staying teachable and ready to complete any task assigned.
