REFERENCES:
a. AR 600-20, Army Command Policy
b. AR 670-1, Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia
c. Unit SOPs, FRAGOs, and published training timelines
EFFECTIVE DATE: 18 November 2025
Purpose. The purpose of this memorandum is to establish and reinforce standards for punctuality, adherence to time hacks, and good order and discipline for all personnel assigned or attached to Task Force [TF NAME]. These expectations are issued in accordance with AR 600-20, which requires disciplined, standards-based operations across all echelons.
Authority. AR 600-20, paragraphs 4-1 and 4-2, direct leaders to uphold standards, maintain good order and discipline, and ensure accountability of assigned personnel. Failure to meet published timelines, uniform standards, or readiness requirements violates these directives and negatively affects operational effectiveness.
Discussion.
a. Time discipline is a foundational responsibility for all Soldiers and leaders. Meeting specified time hacks for formations, SP times, rehearsals, PCC/PCI, and training events is essential for synchronized operations and mission success.
b. AR 600-20 directs that good order and discipline must be maintained at all times. Repeated or habitual failures to meet standards degrade trust, hinder team performance, and disrupt unit readiness.
c. Leaders will enforce "Right place, right time, right uniform" consistently. All personnel will arrive adequately prepared, properly equipped, and early enough to facilitate successful execution of assigned tasks.
Standards. Effective 18 November 2025, the following standards are reaffirmed for all personnel assigned or attached to Task Force [TF NAME]:
a. All personnel will arrive not later than 15 minutes prior to all published time hacks.
b. Uniforms will be worn in accordance with AR 670-1 and the unit SOP.
c. PCC/PCI will be conducted prior to all movements and formations.
d. Leaders will enforce time and discipline standards in accordance with AR 600-20.
Corrective Measures. Progressive corrective measures will be applied for violations, consistent with the principles outlined in AR 600-20:
a. Verbal Warning
b. Physical Fitness Corrective Action
c. Negative Counseling (DA Form 4856)
d. Removal from Training Team or reassignment within Task Force [TF NAME]
Continued or repeated violations may result in administrative or UCMJ action under Articles 86, 92, or 134.
Command Intent. Task Force [TF NAME] must operate as a disciplined, synchronized, and mission-ready force. Time discipline is essential to mission accomplishment. Adherence to standards is mandatory and will be enforced uniformly across the formation in accordance with AR 600-20.
