SUBJECT: Career Skills Program (CSP) Exception to Policy (ETP) Request for [REDACTED]

2. REQUEST: [REDACTED] requests ETP approval to not return to permanent duty station (PDS), 5th SFAB, JBLM, WA. Service member has an approved CSP outside of the 50-mile radius from PDS. [REDACTED] will separate from military service at Fort Hood, TX 76544.
3. JUSTIFICATION:
a. Service member is requesting ETP to mitigate unnecessary financial hardship to return to JBLM, WA. If approved, this would allow [REDACTED] to terminate his current apartment lease, secure housing arrangements near Fort Hood, TX and not incur temporary housing arrangements during his 10-day out-processing after his CSP end date of 17 OCT 26. If approved, [REDACTED] would complete his out-processing and final out from [REDACTED].
