DAILY DUTIES AND SCOPE (to include, as appropriate, people, equipment, facilities and dollars) Company Fire Support Sergeant in a Ranger Battalion with no-notice worldwide deployment contingency missions; principal enlisted advisor to the Company Fire Support Officer; plans and coordinates all fire support for the company, to include attack helicopters, naval gunfire, close air support, mortars, and field artillery. Responsible for the health and welfare, training, and operational readiness of twelve soldiers; responsible for equipment valued in excess of $700,000. Performs the duties of the Company FSO in his absence. space |
