Public Health Nurse
Serves as Public Health Nurse; evaluates public health programs for effectiveness; promotes and protects the health of service members; manages the brigade food sanitation program and enforces compliance of 22 installation food facilities; identifies health risks and determines medical qualifications for mobility and world-wide duty; performs audiometric tests for Hearing Conservation Program members; conducts medical intelligence briefings; ensures deploying personnel are aware of health threats in the workplace.


Public Health Nurse
Serves as Public Health Nurse; conducts health threat assessments and monitors the environment during operations and disaster response; prevents and/or controls disease transmission through epidemiological investigation, patient interviews, and health education; acts as liaison with the community, local, and state public health officials; disseminates health related information to raise public awareness of health threats; supports the transition from hospital to home care; performs occupational health related audiograms.
