CORPORAL NORMAN'S PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS PROVIDED THE TASK FORCE COMMANDER WITH THE NECESSARY INTELLIGENCE NEEDED TO MAKE DELIBERATE AND WELL INFORMED DECISIONS, SHAPING THE BATTLEFIELD FOR FUTURE SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONS. HIS DETERMINATION TO PROVIDE ACCURATE AND REAL-TIME INTELLIGENCE TO THE OPERATIONAL DETACHMENTS ALPHA RESULTED IN THE BEST INTER-UNIT COOPERATION SEEN TO DATE AND OPTIMIZED OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES. CORPORAL NORMAN’S PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS OF ENEMY AVENUES OF APPROACH, DISPOSITION, AND ENEMY LINES OF COMMUNICATIONS, PROVIDED THE TASK FORCE 9230 COMMANDER WITH INFORMATION NEEDED TO COUNTER THE ENEMY'S FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT AND TO ULTIMATELY SECURE VICTORY. During this period (SOLDIER) distinguished himself by supervising the creation and quality control of 254 intelligence products supporting two Engineer Battalions operating in six USCENTCOM countries. (SOLDIER)'s proficiency and understanding of the intelligence cycle, analytical processes, and critical thinking was instrumental in the BDE and its supporting BN's success.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT WHILE DEPLOYED IN SUPPORT OF 7TH SPECIAL FORCES GROUP FROM 10 JUNE 1979 TO 15 JULY 1981. LIEUTENANT BRADBURY CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DURING DEPLOYMENT IN SUPPORT OF DRUG INSURGENCY OPERATIONS IN THE CEQUETA PROVINCE, COLOMBIA, LIEUTENANT BRADBURY HELPED COORDINATE MULTI-AGENCY COOPERATION AND INFORMATION SHARING BETWEEN DEA, OFO, CBP AND COLOMBIAN GUARD COUNTERPARTS. LIEUTENANT BRADBURY ALSO CREATED SEVERAL COMPREHENSIVE INTELLIGENCE FILES, AND AERIAL SURVEILLANCE CHARTS TO ILLUSTRATE THE VOLUME OF FARQ REBEL SUSPECT TRACKS IN THE AREA OF OPERATION AND MAINTAIN SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. HIS ACTIONS REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, 7TH SPECIAL FORCES GROUP AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS AN INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST AND INSTRUCTOR AT EODTEU ONE FROM 20 JULY 2015 TO AUGIST 2016. SERGEANT HESTER CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DEMONSTRATING HIS EXPERTISE AS AN INTELLIGENCE ANALYST, HE PROVIDED MISSION CRITICAL IED, VBIED, AND INCIDENT REPORTING INFORMATION TO OVER 350 EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL DURING MORE THEN 15 MISSION/TRAINING BRIEFINGS ON CENTCOM, PACOM, EUCOM AND AFRICOM AREAS OF OPERATION. BY HIS EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, SERGEANT HESTER REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, 7TH SPECIAL FORCES GROUP AND THE UNITED STATES ARMY.




SPC Doe demonstrated tremendous knowledge and proficiency as a Military Intelligence professional. He continuously showed the ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision. His free-thinking ability and dependability greatly enhanced various units' intelligence operations capabilities, paving the way for their success.




With his broad knowledge of technical and tactical procedures, SPC John Doe demonstrated exceptional resourcefulness and dedication to duty. SPC John Doe's tact and hard work, positive attitude toward his job and willingness to accept additional responsibilities were particularly noteworthy. His attention to detail, enthusiasm, and indomitable spirit was a positive influence on his peers.

SPC John Doe assisted the Battalion intelligence section in the administrative responsibility for over 700 soldiers. He demonstrated administrative versatility and assisted in such duties as security clearance management, Security Clearance Access Roster submissions to Brigade, map custodian and in the maintenance of various administrative databases.

SPC John Doe assisted the Battalion intelligence section by providing OSRVT and DCGS-A capabilities during NTC Rotation 09-09. His determination to provide accurate and real-time intelligence to the five supported companies resulted in the best operational returns per intel evolution in the Command.




As the battle space owners, SPC Haagen worked diligently as an intelligence analyst in support of the cavalry mission to establish security for Parwan province. He produced a daily graphical intelligence summary and weekly AO assessment that was read by over 1,000 intel specialists on a weekly basis. SPC Haagan provided intelligence support for over a dozen named missions with profitable results. His intelligence support artfully combined many intelligence disciplines and produced imagery intelligence to help the ground commander determine the most likely avenues of enemy approach and ISR to keep staff informed of real time developments on the ground. His timely and accurate HUMINT reporting helped to develop the battlefield and assess the enemy threat prior to targeting. The diligent efforts of SPC Haagan bring great credit upon himself, the 1/172 CAV (MTN) and the United States Army.

SERGEANT SNYDER CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DURING DEPLOYMENT IN SUPPORT OF OPERATION LOCKDOWN, SERGEANT SNYDER HELPED COORDINATE MULTI-AGENCY COOPERATION AND INFORMATION SHARING BETWEEN OFO, CBP AND COAST GUARD COUNTERPARTS. Sergeant Courbain has demonstrated outstanding initiative and leadership since his arrival at U.S. Army, Africa. During his tenure at USARAF, SGT Courbain assumed duties as NCOIC, which required the supervision and mentorship of 9 joint service subordinates. Despite the no-notice assignment and lack of support, SGT Courbain immediately began the task of developing the orientation package for incoming Military Intelligence war fighters. At the same time, he developed a comprehensive training plan which was validated by several successive iterations of temporary duty Soldiers. SGT Courbain has displayed exemplary leadership and expertise well above his pay grade, which directly contributed to the invaluable development of Soldiers within the USARAF Intelligence Directorate.

Senior Intelligence Sergeant

SFC Knoti provided critical and timely input to the Computer Network Operations Execution Order (CNO EXORD) that was eventually adopted by the Army G3 for daily operations. This contribution provided detailed information regarding the need to coordinate and synchronize intelligence efforts at the enterprise-level and cross-train network analysts and intelligence analysts at the Signal Center and Intelligence Center in order to prevent intel failures.




FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST, J2 INTELLIGENCE DIRECTORATE, JOINT TASK FORCE GUANTANAMO, GUANTANAMO BAY, CUBA, FROM 5 APRIL 2014 TO 1 MAY 2015 IN SUPPORT OF OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM AND THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR. SERGEANT MARTHA WINEGATE DISTINGUISHED HERSELF BY EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS SERVICE AS THE SITE'S PRIMARY INTELLIGENCE ANALYST. HER EFFORTS WERE PARAMOUNT IN THE DIRECTORATE'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE CRITICAL STRATEGIC INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS TO SUPPORT JOINT TASK FORCE PRIORITIES AND UPPER ECHELON INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY PLANNING. HER INNOVATIVE USE OF RESOURCES WAS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING DIRECTORATE DIVISION'S 100% OPERATIONAL CAPACITY AND A WORKFORCE OF OVER 150 MILITARY AND CIVILIAN PERSONNEL WHILE REMAINING WITHIN STRICT BUDGET PARAMETERS. AS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST FOR THE TECHNICAL EXPLOITATION CELL, SHE SUPERVISED THE DETAINEE CALL TRACKER AND SHAREPOINT INTEGRATION TO ENSURE ACCURATE FUSION CELL ANALYSIS AND ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS TO SUSTAIN THE JOINT TASK FORCE MISSION. THE DISTINCTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF SERGEANT WINEGATE REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF, THE UNITED STATES ARMY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.




Meritorious service while serving as Intelligence Analyst, Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Michigan, from April 2014 to May 2017. During this period, Senior Airman Kelly pioneered a new target development process which produced over 1,200 imagery products to identify critical Islamic State of Iraq and Syria finance nodes in three joint operating areas, resulting in 123 coalition airstrikes that curtailed over 100 million dollars of enemy revenue and crippled recruitment efforts in the region. Additionally, he was hand-selected to attend the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade's Office of Special Programs course and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency's Geospatial Intelligence course. On his return, Airman Kelly applied the advanced training to increase the squadron's exploitation capabilities by 50 percent, leading to a pattern of life assessment of 78 tactical ballistic missile sites and reducing imagery exploitation time by 20 minutes. Finally, he reinforced the Director of Air Mobility Forces Syrian airfield seizure plan by identifying 345 defensive positions, 400 runway obstacles and 234 Force Protection concerns, culminating in the capture of five Syrian airfields. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Senior Airman Kelly reflect great credit upon himself and the United Sates Air Force.




35F Senior Intelligence Analyst

He served for two years as the Senior Intelligence Sergeant within the Headquarters and Headquarters' Company's All Source Production Section (ASPS). He was in charge of running daily operations which included operations/ intelligence briefings, producing the common operating picture for the staff and command team, and briefing the Commander with weekly desk-side updates. Separately, he provided over 300 intelligence products from mission support packages (MSP) to white papers supporting numerous missions throughout the PACOM and CENTCOM AORs after the unit received an additional tasking. His vast understanding of complex problem sets and devotion to the development of junior Soldiers impacted the unit through improved production quality and increased situational awareness throughout the staff.

While still serving as the Senior Intelligence Analyst, SFC Quill was selected to support an agency aligned with the organization, known as the Powerhouse sector of the Syfon Warriors. He served as squad leader throughout this tasking, providing himself as essential to two regiments of Syfon Warriors. He conducted in-depth research yielding a fresh red team perspective regarding the entity. His work would go on to create layers of protection and furthered read-ons for the organization that would impact the program as a whole and the future of the organization.

SFC Quill was selected to serve on a Special Operations Joint Task Force as the senior analyst, despite never working at battalion level. Throughout his time on the Joint Task Force, he spearheaded information sharing with two other joint tasks forces working in the same AOR. This would produce a weekly analyst exchange, developing 4 Soldiers aligned to the Southern Syria regional team and driving the Iraq team to establish a similar model. Additionally, he provided a bi-monthly deep dive, discussing topics such as referendum, refugees, terror expansion, and violations of global law.

His work led to his selection by the command team to serve as the leader of the intelligence enterprise for 2nd battalion. His experience allowed him to run all night operations (S3) throughout one exercise in Korea (Key Resolve/ Foal Eagle 2018). He established solid communication between the S3 and the Korean Special Forces (ROK) ensuring strength in a key relationship for the organization. His comms improvement would also allow for reliable and consistent information sharing throughout the night, improving joint operations tenfold.

In each tasking, SFC Quill was selected for multiple positions throughout the organization due to success in each role, constantly meeting the next challenge, and succeeding. Finally, he provided the staff with over 35 briefings to include the command team and VIP visitors to the unit, improving their understanding of the AOR while ensuring that personnel security and physical security were at the forefront of the unit's priorities.
