Requesting Volunteers E-mails

Asking for volunteers can be a tricky business especially when the duty is well known to be undesireable.

Subject: FW: Need Spouse Volunteers for Food Pantry Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator

All,

The food pantry located at the Family Support Center recently lost their volunteer coordinator due to PCS. Until the new position is filled, the food pantry is in a holding pattern. As you all know, the cost of living in the local area makes it difficult for our Soldiers to make ends meet. This food pantry is a necessity for about 35 families here in Mannheim. If your spouse might be interested in filling a position as coordinator or assistant, please have them contact the CFSC at DSN 123-4567.

This is a great opportunity to meet people, gain experience, and make a huge impact on our community! Please don't forget to talk to your spouses about this so we can get the food pantry reopened ASAP.

Thanks!!
