ADAM/BAE Team Leader
Serves as an ADAM/BAE Team Leader within HHB, DIVARTY; leads and supervises one Soldier in the operation, employment, maintenance, and accountability of Air Defense Battle Management and associated command-and-control systems; provides air defense situational awareness and mission support to unit operations; trains Soldiers on 14G and ADAM/BAE tasks; responsible for the readiness and accountability of ADAM/BAE, Sentinel, communications, and associated equipment valued in excess of $30 million; advises leadership on system capabilities, operational readiness, and air defense requirements; Sub-Hand Receipt Holder: ADAM/BAE AND SENTINEL


14G Team Leader
Serves as a Team Leader in the AN/TSQ-253 Air Defense and Airspace Management (ADAM) Cell; responsible for the health, welfare, training and supervision of 3 Soldiers; responsible for the employment of airspace usage IAW all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOD, and local regulations; facilitates efficient, safe, and orderly use of the Brigade's airspace usage by multiple users including artillery, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), rotary wing, and fixed wing aircraft across the Corps area of operations; responsible for the accountability, serviceability, and maintenance of over $5,000,000.00 worth of equipment.


14G30 Operations Sergeant in Div HQ
Serves as the Operations Sergeant assigned to the Joint Air Ground Integration Cell (JAGIC) in the 1st Cavalry Division deployable worldwide; acts as advisor to the battle staff in Air Defense Operations and aircraft survivability; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, safety and training 2 Non-Commissioned Officers and 2 Junior Enlisted Soldiers and family; maintains combat readiness capabilities to deploy worldwide in support of the Operations Air Control Cell in maintaining air tracks and tracking events affecting friendly air operations; force multiplying survivability through planning and current operations management of assets organic and non-organic to the Division.


14G4O BDE FDC, Battle System Manager
Serves as the Battle System Manager assigned to the Fire Directorate Cell (FDC) in the XXXX Air Defense Artillery Brigade deployable worldwide; acts as advisor to the Brigade command and staff in Air Defense Operations; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, safety and training XXXX Non-Commissioned Officers and XXXX Junior Enlisted Soldier and family; maintains combat readiness capabilities to deploy worldwide in support of contingency Air Defense Operations through the employment of XXXX AMDPCS Shelter equipped with the latest Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD), and Air Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) and additional equipment valued in excess of $6.5 Million Dollars.


Team Leader in Air Defense Air Management (ADAM) Cell
Serves as the Team Leader in the Air Defense Air Management (ADAM) Cell in an CONUS-based Stryker Brigade Combat Team deployable worldwide; acts as advisor to the Brigade command and staff in Air Defense Operations; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, safety and training of one Junior Enlisted Soldier and family; maintains combat readiness capabilities to deploy worldwide in support of contingency Air Defense Operations through the employment of one ADAM Shelter equipped with the latest Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) and a Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), and additional equipment valued in excess of $5,300,000.


MOS 14G Team Leader
Serves as a Team Leader for an Sentinel Radar Platoon, assigned to an Indirect Fire Capability (IFPC), Air Defense Artillery Battery; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, safety and training of two Junior Enlisted Soldiers and their Families; maintained combat readiness capabilities to deploy worldwide in support of contingency Air Defense Operations through the employment of two Sentinel Radar System and Shelter equipped with the latest Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) and Air Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Digital Air Defense equipment valued in excess of $3,000,000.


MOS 14G ADAM/BAE NCOIC
Serves as the Airspace Manager in the Air Defense Air Management (ADAM) Cell in an OCONUS-based Stryker Brigade Combat Team deployable worldwide; responsible for the employment of airspace usage IAW all FAA, military, and local regulations; facilitates efficient, safe, and orderly use of the Brigade's airspace usage by multiple users including artillery, SUAS, TUAS, rotary wing, and fixed wing aircraft across the Brigade Area of Operations; responsible for the accountability, serviceability, and maintenance of over $6,500,000.00 worth of equipment; responsible for the training, mentorship, health, and welfare of thirteen Soldiers.




MOS 14G - Air Defense (AD) Battle Management System Operator

Major Duties. The Battle Management System Operator supervises or serves in an Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC), Air Defense Brigade, Maneuver Battalion, or Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM) cell in conjunction with a Brigade Aviation Element (BAE) as an Air/Ground integrator/manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and establishing connectivity with Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) sensors and command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I)/controller networks and airspace users; provides Situational Awareness (SA) of airspace and early warning; conducts current and future operations planning and execution of airspace management requirements for the supported echelon; conducts Air and Missile Defense (AMD) and Aviation planning and coordination to determine AMD and Aviation requirements across the full spectrum of operations; responsible for ADAM Cell equipment march order, emplacement, initialization and operator/organizational level system maintenance, technical references, technical inspections, adjustments, removal and replacement of battery replaceable units (BRUs), line replaceable units (LRUs), and other tasks authorized in the maintenance allocation chart (MAC) and preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) required to sustain or return the ADAM Cell to its operational readiness condition. Duties for MOS 14G at each level of skill are:

MOSC 14G10. Performs march order, emplacement, initialization, and operation; performs operator/organizational level maintenance and PMCS on the Sentinel Radar and ADAM Cell equipment including the Air and Missile Defense Warning System (AMDWS), the Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), and the Forward Area Air Defense System Engagement Operations (FAAD-EO) system; evaluates tactical electronic intelligence data for force/engagement operations in JIIM networks; performs operations and intelligence duties, maintains Situational Awareness of the airspace and provides early warning; conducts planning and execution of airspace management requirements for the supported echelon; operates/performs operator PMCS on vehicles/system prime power units; performs data connectivity between Air Defense communications equipment, Tri-Services Tactical Communications (TRITAC) network, Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE), and Link-11/Link-16 with Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Multi-National forces; performs on-line/off-line Common Hardware-Software diagnostics and fault isolation programs; emplaces, initializes, and operates LAN, WAN, and remote video displays.

MOSC 14G20. Performs duties in preceding skill levels; serves as a Senior Early Warning System (EWS) operator in Air Defense Command and Control (C2) nodes or ADAM Cells at brigade level or higher; supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate Soldiers; may serve as a team leader in brigade level and above staff sections.

MOSC 14G30. Performs duties in preceding skill levels; establishes, supervises and participates in unit level training for crew certification programs and Air Defense exercises; performs operations and intelligence duties and may serve as air defense liaison noncommissioned officer (NCO); may serve as a section sergeant, assistant operations NCO or operations NCO in brigade level and above staff sections.

MOSC 14G40. Performs duties in preceding skill levels; provides technical guidance to subordinate Soldiers; performs operations and intelligence duties at brigade and higher levels; may serve as an operations NCO, systems evaluator, or battle manager in brigade level and above staff sections; directs, instructs and evaluates tactical operating procedures; monitors unit equipment readiness and prepares monthly unit readiness reports (URR).
