Sergeant Wornowski's attention to detail proved influential in correcting 22 discrepancies in the installation's CBRNE newsletter and enabled her to help rewrite the seven-level course material for 120 students. Additionally, she managed the Brigade level hazardous material response plan, identifying ten critical discrepancies. Moreover, she was hand-picked to deploy to revise reserve unit emergency checklists, train 43 personnel, and certify 143 pieces of equipment. She improved efficiency and response times and contributed to an "outstanding" rating during a base-wide exercise. Finally, she revitalized CBRNE course content by authoring an enhanced training plan, reducing training sessions by 16 man hours and updating seven key components, improving warfare readiness for all base members.

UPON ASSIGNMENT TO THIS CRITICAL POST, STAFF SERGEANT MAXWELL RESTRUCTURED THE ENTIRE PROGRAM WHICH ULTIMATELY RESULTED IN A GRADE OF "EXCELLENT" AND RECOGNITION BY THE PROGRAM INSPECTION TEAM. HE CORRECTLY ANSWERED ALL INSPECTOR INQUIRIES, PROVED ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION WAS COMPLETE, PERIODIC REPORTS WERE ACCURATE, AND RECORD KEEPING PROCEDURES WERE WELL MANAGED, ENSURING THE PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED IN A SAFE AND EFFICIENT MANNER. HE PERSONALLY CONDUCTED MORE THAN 20 WORKCENTER SPOT CHECKS, PRESIDED OVER THE HAZMAT BOOTH AT THE MAINTENANCE TRAINING RODEO, SUPERVISED SIX EMERGENCY SPILL DRILLS, INSTITUTED LOCAL HAZMAT AND HAZARDOUS WASTE TRAINING CERTIFICATION, AND ENSURED 100% HAZMAT INDOCTRINATION DURING NEWCOMER BRIEFINGS, INCREASING PERSONNEL AWARENESS AND READINESS. SERGEANT MAXWELL'S MANAGERIAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
Technical Sergeant Elizabeth L. Maestas distinguished herself by meritorious service as Hazmat NCOIC, Supply Division, Logistics Directorate, Air Force Element, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia from XXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXX. During this period, Sergeant Maestas' unsurpassed leadership skills were critical to the upgrade and accuracy of the Mobility Inventory Control Accountability System database. She was the driving force behind the update of over 40,000 Chemical Warfare Defense Equipment items worth four million dollars while saving the Air Force 1,250 manpower hours. In addition, she deployed to Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras and provided vital joint logistical support by managing 29 sub-hand receipts of equipment valued at more than 8,000,000 dollars with no losses. Further, she performed monthly hand receipt reconciliations and identified and turned in excess equipment valued at $330,000 to the Supply Support Activity warehouse. Finally, Sergeant Maestas' professionalism and dedication to duty directly contributed to the 11th Logistics Readiness Squadron earning the Air Force District of Washington Logistics Readiness Squadron of the Year awards for 2011 and 2012. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Maestas reflect credit upon herself and the United States Air Force.
CPL Hamilton assisted in the identification, consolidation, transportation, and disposal of over 100 gallons of expired chemicals within the Injury Biomechanics and Protection Group of the United States Army Aeromedical Research Lab (USAARL). Working side by side with the Fort Novosel Environmental Office, 187 containers of chemicals, some of which were over a decade past shelf life, were safely and properly disposed of. CPL Hamilton's efforts ensured a safer work place not only for his group co-workers, but all USAARL employees. His attention to detail, hard work, and dedication to Safety is a great reflection upon himself, the United States Army Aeromedical Research Lab, and the United States Army.
SSG Buscemi served as the Explosive Hazards Advisor for Maneuver Advisor Team 4133 in C CO from 20 August 2021 to 24 August 2024. During his tenure, SSG Buscemi trained with the team through two team validation exercises and one mission readiness exercise, two employments to the European Theater under force package 22-1 in Poland and 23-2 in Hungary, completion of a tactical resistance course from ODA 0310, and ensured mission readiness and deployability for several advisor teams. During his time in 4 SFAB, SSG Buscemi assisted his team with superior technical and tactical proficiency by enhancing their knowledge base of Explosive Hazards handling and safety considerations. Being a foundational member of Advisor Team 4133, SSG Buscemi managed everything from equipment accountability, maintainability, operability, and training to enhance the development of fellow advisors. He served as MAT 4133's Hazardous Material Transportation Officer and facilitated the deployment of Crow Company to two separate European Theater employments, guaranteeing 100% first-time inspection success rate for deploying teams.
