Outstanding achievement while serving as Counterintelligence Agent, 629th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Battalion, 58th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Operating Base Fenty, Afghanistan, from XXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXX. When the entire Counterintelligence Team (CIT) 222 was quarantined for 14 days due to COVID-19 during Operation Resolute Support, Sergeant Velveeta's dedication, leadership and devotion to mission success sustained operations while adhering to quarantine regulations. He overcame all obstacles to continue to produce and deliver timely intelligence reports, and maintained continuous contact with command staff. Sergeant Velveeta's selfless efforts allowed CIT 222 to maintain rapport with the community and to continue to gather valuable intelligence. Sergeant Velveeta's sterling performance reflects great credit upon himself, the 58th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and the United States Army.




Meritorious service while serving as Intelligence Analyst, 4th Detachment, 2500th Military Intelligence Group, Jacksonville Naval Air Station from XXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXX. During this period, Captain Martha Dalton tirelessly performed her duties and demonstrated her expertise by providing mission critical research and analysis on over a dozen Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV)s and counter Improvised Explosive Device schematics. Captain Dalton's extensive efforts and in-depth analysis resulted in the mitigation of enemy tactics and procedures and contributed to the safety and success of over 300,000 coalition forces. By her exceptional ability, personal initiative, and total dedication to duty, Captain Dalton reflected great credit upon herself, the 2500 MIG, the National Ground Intelligence Center and the United States Army.




FOR EXCEPTIONALLY MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE ASSIGNED AS THE OIR INTEL ANALYST DURING OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE AND IN SUPPORT OF OPERATION SPARTAN SHIELD. SPECIALIST NIXON CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE OPERATION BY ENSURING COMMAND TEAMS WERE PROVIDED WITH TIMELY AND ACCURATE INTEL, RESULTING IN THE OVERALL SAFE COMPLETION OF THE FIGHT AGAINST ISIS. ADDITIONALLY, SPECIALIST NIXON ACTED ABOVE HIS PAY GRADE BY LEADING INTEL OPERATIONS FOR HIS ASSIGNED AO AND WAS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE MISSION. SPECIALIST NIXON'S ACTIONS REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE 38TH SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE, THE 38TH INFANTRY DIVISON, THE 1ST THEATER SUPPORT COMMAND AND THE INDIANA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD.




SGT Brent W Charton distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Functions Division Operations Officer, Army GEOINT Battalion. During this period, SGT Charton's exemplary performance and technical support during Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) rotation 16-09 resulted in 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne GEOINT cell's successful deployment of DCGS-A systems. His expertise and lessons learned from the rotation enabled him to develop a checklist that will enable Operations Group Observer Controller/Trainers at JRTC and future Rotational Training Units to accurately deploy Tactical-Intelligence Ground System (TGS) to utilize the Intelligence Enterprise and Mission Command systems. SGT Charton's diligent efforts reflect great credit upon himself, the 3rd Brigade Combat Team and the United States Army.




Staff Sergeant Benjamin Siebold distinguished himself by outstanding achievement while serving as NCOIC, Army Foundry Intelligence Training Program, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command. Sergeant Siebold's ability to multi-task and get results far above his pay grade resulted in a lasting impact to Foundry, Federated Intelligence Program and funds reimbursable authority, increasing and expanding utilization at the state and unit level. His efforts directly contributed to the core mission of the Army National Guard G2 to man, equip, and train military intelligence soldiers, resulting in increased military intelligence readiness. Sergeant Siebold's unwavering service brings great credit upon himself, the Army National Guard and the United States Army.




For commendable conduct in the performance of outstanding service as the Table Manager NCOIC, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group. SSG Carmichael's dedication to duty coupled with his subject matter expertise in highly visible and critical areas of intelligence collection helped SOCOM achieve its mission objectives in preparation for and recovery from operation SILENT QUEST 16-02. His Distinguished Performance and Outstanding accomplishments reflect great credit upon himself, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, and the United State Army.




SGT William B Bryant distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Intelligence Sergeant, 96th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne). SGT Bryant's corrective actions, dedication to duty, and loyalty to the organization resulted in commendable ratings across four graded programs, previously graded as unsatisfactory. SGT Bryant refined the S2 inprocessing SOP to include aspects of security training and protocol IAW Department of the Army guidance including mandated security and classification training. While serving as the only team leader in the S2, he inspired his subordinates to go above and beyond to accomplish goals outside of their specified job scope as well as ensuring they were properly trained and prepared for daily operations. SGT Bryant's dedication and devotion to duty is in keeping with the finest traditions of the Army and reflects great credit upon himself, the 96th Civil Affairs Battalion, and the United States Army.




Sergeant John R Cope, United States Army, distinguished himself by exceptionally meritorious service while deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM as the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Night Watch Officer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Division, International Security Assistance Force Joint Command (IJC) from 11 March 2013 to 24 September 2013. Sergeant Cope excelled within Geospatial Support Team 47, ensuring the safe transport of more than 75,000 dollars worth of sensitive equipment into theater and creating more than fifty Geospatial Intelligence Products requested by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence, leading to his appointment as site lead less than one month after his arrival. Additionally, he was chosen to act as a Liaison Officer to the Combined Joint Operations Center, where he authored 66 ISR Summaries disseminated throughout the theater and conducted daily briefings, keeping IJC leadership abreast of ISR impacts to operations. Through his distinctive accomplishments, Sergeant Cope reflected credit upon himself, the United States Army, and the Department of Defense.
