Professionalism Counseling

The purpose of this counseling is to address WO1 A's decision to forward an email to the 101st 1MBCT Brigade Command teams regarding new ration guides without prior notification or approval from his supervisor, Major M. This session will emphasize the importance of adhering to proper communication protocols and maintaining professional email etiquette. Ensuring compliance with chain of command procedures is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and preventing miscommunication when disseminating information to higher echelons.

Professionalism: Please ensure you are professional and have the proper attitude at all times. Show the proper courtesy and respect to supervisors, peers, and students alike. Always be professional and never allow your personal feelings to get in the way of respecting others or getting the job done. Professionalism with students is paramount. For some, it is the first glimpse into CI and/or HUMINT; others it maybe their first HT-JCOE course. We owe it to the intelligence community to develop and maintain a professional learning environment for them. Unnecessary, unprofessional treatment of students is not conducive in a learning environment and will not be tolerated. If at anytime you feel as though you are not treated with the proper respect and professionalism, please try to resolve it directly with that individual; however, if that is not possible, please bring it to my attention.
