Suicide Prevention Program Liaison (SPPL)
Serves as Suicide Prevention Program Liaison (SPPL) for the unit; supports the Army's goal of minimizing suicidal behavior; establishes a community approach to reduce Army suicides; identifies and eliminates any policy which inadvertently punishes or discourages any Soldier from receiving professional counseling; raises awareness of and vigilance towards suicide prevention; maintains familiarity with current guidelines and requirements described in official regulations; serves as a point of contact for and coordinates with the Suicide Prevention Program Manager (SPPM) to provide suicide prevention training for Soldiers within the unit.
