Line Medic
For outstanding achievement while serving as a line medic for Iron Focus 2019 from 10 June 2019 to 20 June 2019. As the senior Health Care Specialist, Sergeant Collier's span of influence regarding treatment and education of heat injuries extended throughout the battalion to HHC, Charlie and Bravo Company Soldiers. His ability to recognize, triage, treat, and evacuate these soldiers was an integral part of Alpha Company's success during Iron Focus 2019. The sterling accomplishments of Sergeant Collier bring great credit upon himself, the 1st Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment and the United States Army.
Hearing Technician WW96Caa
SSG Cummings successfully completed the CAOHC/DHA Audiology Technician course, earning his Hearing Technician certification. He enthusiastically contributed during the overall learning experience throughout the course and was instrumental to the group's success. He proficiently performed his newly acquired skills that contributed to the success of this MOBEX mission. SSG Cummings exuded his NCO experience in uniting the audiology team. His encouragement and positive attitude in the clinic and with the deploying soldiers significantly improved morale for all around him. SSG Cummings' upbeat outlook greatly contributed to the overall success of the audiology section’s mission during this MOBEX. SSG Cummings’ willingness to step up and take on more shows his commitment to his team and was instrumental in making things smoother throughout the audiology SRP mission.
Audiology Tech 7242 MSU
PFC Marshall served as an audiology tech during the MOBEX III MFGI Ft. Johnson mission in which she tirelessly worked long shifts performing audiometric testing of soldiers in the MOBEX and scheduled any required follow-up appointments. PFC Marshall took on responsibility far beyond her rank while serving as a member of the audiology team during the SRP mission and maintained her military bearing during the SRP mission. Her flexibility and ability to quickly learn and apply information learned during the DHA hearing technician course were vital to the success of the SRP/MOBEX mission at Ft. Johnson. PFC Marshall achieved the highest score on the DHA hearing technician exam of the entire course during the MOBEX III MFGI Ft. Johnson mission.
Hearing Conservation Technician
Hearing Conservation Technician, Army Hearing Program - Korea, from JUL 2022 to JUL 2023. CPL Rutledge served as Hearing Conservation Technician as an additional duty, providing Hearing Health Education, Hearing Protection Fittings, Results Briefs, Medical Record Updates, and 186 Follow-Ups and 95 appropriate Audiological Referrals for 1,739 Service Members in support of overall medical readiness across 8A. CPL Rutledge went above and beyond his duties by continuing to support the Army Hearing Program by increasing the length of his assignment in order to maintain access to care at the Midtown Clinic by an additional six months.
Hearing Test Technician
SPC Bush operated the hearing booth for the entire brigade and performed over 700 hearing tests, identifying reduced ability and preserving the safety of military operations. He replaced four faulty booths and took the initiative to organize the hearing booth procedure at Farrelly. He received concurrence from the NCOIC and communicated that with the administrative support staff and created a sign for ease of patient use. SPC Bush's clear communication contributed to patient satisfaction and safety.
Hospital Corpsman
MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS HOSPITAL CORPSMAN, OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY CLINIC, NAVAL HOSPITAL PENSACOLA, PENSACOLA, FLORIDA FROM MARCH 2012 TO AUGUST 2014. DURING THIS PERIOD, HM3 HOOLIHAN EXPEDITIOUSLY TRIAGED OVER 5,500 DOD BENEFICIARIES IN THE FOURTH BUSIEST ENT CLINIC NAVY WIDE, DIRECTLY INFLUENCING A 96 PERCENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RATE, THE HIGHEST IN FIVE YEARS. ADDITIONALLY, HE METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED AN INVENTORY OF MORE THAN 1,100 CRITICAL ITEMS, CORRECTED DEFICITS, AND SAVED THE COMMAND AT LEAST $10,000 IN REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUMENTS. MOREOVER, AS TRAINING PETTY OFFICER, HE ENSURED 100 PERCENT TRAINING COMPLIANCE FOR 11 ACTIVE DUTY AND CIVILIAN STAFF MEMBERS FOR 24 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. PETTY OFFICER HOOLIHAN'S DISTINCTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PRESERVERANCE, AND DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
