On [03/17/2026], you were notified that your urinalysis sample collected on [03/13/2026] under the Army Drug Testing Program tested positive for cocaine (BZE metabolite) as reported by the certified forensic toxicology laboratory.
Wrongful use of a controlled substance is a violation of Article 112a, UCMJ, and is incompatible with Army service. The Army maintains a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use. This incident calls into question your judgment, reliability, and ability to uphold Army standards.
As a result of this incident:You are being flagged IAW AR 600-8-2 (Suspension of Favorable Personnel Actions). You are ineligible for favorable actions (promotions, awards, schools, reenlistment, etc.). You will be referred to SUDCC IAW AR 600-85 (Army Substance Abuse Program) for mandatory evaluation. This misconduct may result in UCMJ action under Article 112a. You are subject to administrative separation under AR 635-200, Chapter 14-12c (Misconduct - Commission of a Serious Offense).
This counseling is administrative in nature and does not constitute punishment under the UCMJ. You are expected to: Obey all lawful orders and maintain Army standards at all times. Report to all formations, duties, and appointed places of duty on time. Comply with all SUDCC appointments, evaluations, and treatment requirements. Refrain from any further misconduct or violations of the UCMJ. Maintain communication with your chain of command.
