For exceptionally meritorious service while serving as Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Officer Strength Management Team, Recruiting and Retention Battalion, Mississippi Army National Guard from 10 July 2014 to 20 August 2018. During this period, Sergeant First Class JENNIFER C. KLONDIKE distinguished herself in the performance of outstanding service to the Mississippi Army National Guard. Sergeant First Class KLONDIKE exceeded mission requirements by providing superior supervision to Basic branch, Specialty branch and Warrant Officer branch sections. Her expertise and willingness to execute in a timely manner resulted in the unit exceeding the overall mission goal and earned the National Guard Bureau "Mission Maker" award. In addition, Sergeant KLONDIKE served as First Sergeant for HHC 579th Engineer Battalion for over six months. Her outstanding initiative, leadership and personal dedication to the unit resulted in the unit having no past-due NCOERs for the first time in ten years. Sergeant First Class KLONDIKE's extraordinary efforts and accomplishments during this period reflect credit upon herself, the Mississippi Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion and the United States Army.




Meritorious service while serving as Strength Management Officer and Retention Officer for HHC, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia from October 2015 to Septamber 2016. Captain Simone Vickers demonstrated exceptional performance as a Brigade and Group level staff officer. She efficiently supported numerous missions as the S1/Adjutant OC for deploying units while participating in numerous CPX, MRX, MDMP, BCST training events. While serving as the Brigade's Strength Management Officer, Retention Officer, EO Advisor, and Family Readiness Liaison, she conducted multiple training events and staff assistance visits to increase standardization and compliance across the Brigade. Additionally, she created relationships with recruiting/retention entities for qualified transfers and is personally responsible for nearly 100 accessions within a 12 month period. Captain Simone Vickers' actions bring great credit upon herself, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and the United States Army.




For exceptionally meritorious service in support of state and National Guard Bureau strength maintenance goals during the fiscal years of 2020 and 2021. The South Carolina Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion distinguished itself by exceeding strength maintenance goals throughout an unprecedented and difficult recruiting climate. The accomplishments of the battalion's soldiers exemplify their enduring loyalty and total dedication to mission success. These sterling accomplishments are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon the Recruiting and Retention Battalion, the South Carolina Army National Guard, and the State of South Carolina.




SUPERIOR SERVICE AS UNIT RECRUITER AND RETENTION NCO FROM 23 SEPTEMBER 2015 TO 30 AUGUST 2016. STAFF SERGEANT VILLANUEVA'S COMMITMENT TO SECTION III MISSION ACCOMPLISHMENT WITH 179 ACCESSIONS AND SELFLESS SERVICE IN SUPPORT OF THE RECRUITING AND RETENTION BATTALION MISSION DURING CRITICAL TIMES HAS BEEN INDISPENSABLE TO THE GROWTH AND SUCCESS OF THE UNIT. STAFF SERGEANT VILLANUEVA'S PERFORMANCE DURING THIS PERIOD BRINGS GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF, THE UNIT, AND THE PUERTO RICO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD.
