15G Aircraft Structural Repairer
Repairs and replaces aircraft structural components IAW technical manuals; fabricates structural parts using stretching, shrinking, and other metal forming techniques; applies fiberglass, primers, and paints to aircraft surfaces; makes emergency and permanent repairs to plastic windows and enclosures; uses precision tools to perform repairs; balances fixed wing aircraft controls such as flags and ailerons; performs corrosion control of aircraft metals; maintains bench stock and stores flammable and hazardous materials; completes forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.


Aircraft Structural Repairer Supervisor
Serves as an Aircraft Structural Repairer Supervisor to the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade forward deployed in USAREUR; responsible for the health, welfare, morale, professional development, training and evaluation of five NCOs and nine Soldiers; plans, coordinates and supervises all facets of scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, record operations and services on 24 AH-64D attack helicopters worth over $xxx; maintains accountability and serviceability for all special tools, test equipment, Aviation Ground Support Equipment and shop sets valued in excess of $xxx; adheres to and enforces strict safety procedures.

Mixes and applies primers and paints to aircraft surfaces. Applies corrosion control treatment to aircraft metals.
